I've set a Custom Field in Manage Categories with the intention of adding an image Author to uploaded images.
This works if I add a Single Picture but not when I use Import Pictures or Bulk Upload Many Pictures.
Do I need to do anything else to make this appear for all pictutures?

Currently is not an option for those areas. Bulk upload page would be somewhat tricky to add.
The import pictures function is admin so I don't see it being added to that page.

Even though the import (and Many Pictures upload) is to a specific category for which the Custom Field exists as "Required"?

For the import function for sure not. Bulk upload will have to see.

Posted new update changes:
+Custom fields now show on bulk upload page. SMF 2.0.x and SMF 2.1
!Error message now displayed for failed multibulk upload pictures. SMF 2.0.x and SMF 2.1

Once again thank you. Tested and custom field applied successfully with Bulk Upload.

I think I've found a bug using Custom Fields and Bulk Upload Many Pictures.
If I set "Required" for the Custom Field, the first two images upload OK but the following ones error, see attached. I tested this earlier and I'm sure it worked. I installed the latest beta release SMFGalleryPro9.0beta3e (which shows as 9.0beta3d in Package Manager).
Unchecking "Required" and the bulk upload works for all pictures.
