Title: 1.2.16
Post by: Riley on January 11, 2009, 03:21:19 pm
I installed 1.2.16 but it still shows as 1.2.15.

Folks aren't seeing the delete listing tab and are having problems with pics

I can't uninstall either one because there is no uninstall in program manager.

Thanks in advance!!

What kind of problems with pics?

Do you have the delete setting enabled under settings?

Hi

They are still getting the error on needing to add a URL.  I don't think the 1.2.16 upgrade took, especially since it says it's still l2.1.15.

How can I delete this and reinstall?  There is no Uninstall on program manager

Forgot to answer the other part. Yes I have the option to delete checked but no one can see it. We even logged in as a member and tested it and no tab there for them to delete

I deleted 1.2.15 and 1.2.16 and just installed 1.2.16 and still didn't work.

It is stuck on 1.2.15 and will not update.

Me too, I cannot see a delete link/button for my ads when I log in as a regular user.
Where should it appear?

I have a question. I'm planning on upgrading from 1.1.14 to 1.1.16. How do I go about doing this without disturbing what's currently listed on my Classified's board?

Should I uninstall the entire existing package first, or install over the top of what's there? If the answer is uninstall first, will my current auctions and listings remain after the upgrade?

BTW, what's new in 1.1.16? Is there an update summary somewhere which answers this?

Hold off for now want to get another update for Classifieds out this week.

Normally just install the upgrade package over any previous installed version

Thank You!!

It upgraded this time, members can now see the delete button and they can choose either URL or browse with no problem but I have had to fisable the URL as the pics they ar euploading distort my classifieds way to much. It's a shame there is not a way to resize.

Thanks again!!

Thank you very much for this update. I do however wish that there was a url size setting, as the other fellow noted, that didn't distort the main category displays. Perhaps this would mean a gallery option such as the one eBay uses where it automatically resizes it for the search findings and not for the listing itself. Know what I mean? The other option I guess would be to disable image views from the categories, but I think most folks like seeing images within the search finds. Just not super-sized ones.

Any chance of this being addressed? Thanks a bunch! I think this software is getting closer to becoming a real winner! Almost there.  ;)
