Sorry for all the bother, the mods great, im just getting very nitty gritty now.
in the global gallery.
I have two catergorites with a few sub cats in each,
The categories show, "0" images whever there are iamges in the subcategories.
( i do know why this is)
But im just wondering if you can either remove this figure, OR, make it show the true amount inthe category and sub-categories?

I can possibly do one level of subcategories image count will be a take little bit of performance hit.
-
"take a bit of performance hit." ?
what you mean?
-
Well the query would have to search for all categories that are the parent for the category and count up the number of images for all sub the categories.
It will be an option if I add that.
-
yeah sounds good.
would it drain much server usage or anything?
-
Not really. Just takes a little extra.
-
Is it ok for you to try it for me?
-
Add it to my todo list

That ok?

Yeah that's fine. Also any other feature requests or improvements that you want to see post in that topic.

I'd just like to second this. I have most of my pictures in subcategories, so on the front page, it looks like I don't have any pics! ;)
Thanks.

Do you think it's possible to give the admin a choice of how many levels should be calculated at the upper level?
For instance via a pull down menu:
0 = no calculated totals
1 = upper level PLUS first sub category
2 = upper level PLUS first two sub categories
3 = upper level PLUS all sub categories
On this way the admin can decide whether the (possible) performance loss is acceptable or not. Would be very handy for me, though... ;)
Thanks! Keep up the good work!
Eric.
