Title: database error when bidding
Post by: xofydna on April 19, 2010, 12:11:18 am
hi,
I wonder if you could help me.  When I place a bid, or try to buy something, I either get told that I´m not allowed to bid (even though in permissions I´ve given everyone including guests permission to bid, and I´ve checked the category settings and the Classifieds Configuration settings.), or it gives me the following error: "Database error, given array of integer values is empty. (to_members)"

Any clues?

Best regards,
Andy

Also, I´ve tried to hide the number of bids, but without success.

For the database error does it give any line number and filename of where the error is coming from?

hi, thanks for the prompt reply.  Unfortunately it doesn´t give any more info.

Best regards,
Andy

Posted a new update that should help with the to_members error on placing a bid in certain cases

For permissions the way the Classifieds works is there are two types of permissions.

First Global SMF permissions -> Found under Admin -> Permissions. Then modify a group and find the SMF Classifieds permissions area.
These are the core permissions that set whether a member can view, place bids, add listings, manage the classifieds system etc.
Make sure that each group that you want to have access have the classifieds settings setup.

Second category level permissions. Category level permissions is an option to allow you to restrict access to classifieds options for certain membergroups for a category.  These permissions are not needed if you do not need to restrict options based on category.
Also in order for a permission to work they must also have the same global permission.
