Title: Rating Images
Post by: smalldonkey on February 06, 2007, 03:19:07 pm
When a user registers in to the gallery they are unable to rate images.  How can I allow them to rate the pictures?  The only way I can get images rated is if I log in as the admin and rate them myself.  I if I log is as a registered user, I don't get the option to rate the image.

Any ideas, suggestions?

Make sure they have the Rate Permission for their user group,
Admin -> Permissions -> Modify each group that you want to have the Rate permission.

That is where I don't see an option to allow the user to rate the picture or not.  Any suggestions on how to get that to appear in the SMf gallery options?

Attach your Sources/ManagesPermissions.php file. Usally happens if the lite edition was not unistalled first. I can fix it.

Basicly you would download the file either via  FTP or though your control panel's file manager.

Next, you would make anew post here and attach the file to that post. I will then make the change and attach the file.

Then you would download the changed file and then FTP to your site.

Sorry about the delay.  I could access the file from the computer I was on yesterday.

About the files... I have 2 files... I am assuming I would just have to delete the managepermissions.php and then change the managepermissions.php~ to just .php.

But if I am wrong... I attached both files for your magic!
