Title: User Galleries
Post by: G1 on March 17, 2011, 12:32:49 pm
I seen two other topics on this but I did not want to reopen such old topics. Neither of these topics were helpful with my issue.

I cant seem to disable the User Gallery function. I have all permissions set (See attachment) and it still shows names under the default gallery. I am looking to get one public category that all members can upload to but not have individual galleries for each member. In other words for example, if we have 200 members, I don't want a list of 200 names to appear when someone is viewing the gallery.
If anything is there a way to disable or delete the default gallery category?, the one that is already in place when the gallery is installed? I can delete any newly created category but the default only allows editing.
 ;)

Admin -> Gallery Configuration -> Settings -> Layout
Uncheck "Show user gallery category on gallery index"
And save

There is no "Layout" or "Show user gallery category on gallery index" visible in the Settings section.  :-\

There should be a layout tab under the Settings tab. Says "Features  |  Layout  |  EXIF"

Nope. No Features, Layout or EXIF tabs.
