Title: Additional Options... allow users to quickly add images to posts

Hi,

Would it be possible to add the ability for a user to add photos to their gallery and into their posts from the Additional Options... link under the main message window.

So that a user can choose to upload an image into their post and also add to their gallery at the same time..

Something along the same lines as this:

To their gallery or a user gallery? I could add both dropdown options on the post template. This would be an addon

To their own Gallery within the SMF Gallery Pro gallery as an easy way to show pictures in their posts.. in the mod there is a link above the post box saying "Add image to post"

Would this work even if they haven't set-up a category or never used the gallery before?

My members tend to upload images to other sites like image shack and then link to them in their posts. I would like to encourage them to use the built in forum gallery...

Hi,

English isn't my native language so it's hard to search right topics. Sorry if I post in too old topic :)


Is this option available in newest pro 5.0 release? I need gallery button in message buttons. Just like a button "insert image", but so that user can go to the gallery and upload image directly to the message. It's not so fun to open new tab for a gallery and copypaste bbcode on every image.

The addon that I made does the following:
This addon adds a link to upload a picture directly from the creating of a post on SMF. The file can be uploaded to either a category or user gallery.
Then returns back a bbc code link back along with the image for the post.
