Title: SLP: Ask for less privileges on Facebook & Twitter?

The privileges outlined in pink are not required in my opinion. Not requesting these would ease the registration-anxiety for my visitors some. Can we change this?

Not sure. You might be able to setup your own dedicated FB/twitter apps using gigya to work around it which may use less privileges.
