Title: Interested in buying but what happens if it wont install or throws errors?

prior to upgrading to smf 2.0.3 (the old 1.x) I ran into problems installing mods from other sites (NOT yours).

I am very interested in this mod but know that I could run into problems installing it.

What if I purchase it and I have problems or am unable to install it?

If you are unable to install can give a refund.
But this mod makes minor theme edits so should be ok to go.

Does this allow me to create a badge and assign it to specific users without having to alter any files?

Yes you can create your own badge and then manual give the badge to a user in the admin area without altering files as well.
