Title: Can someone tell me how to install a mod?

I came from YaBB where you had to use BoardMod. Is this how it's down with SMF? I can't find any instructions.

You can install mods thru your package manager.D/l the mod to your PC and then upload it thru the package manager.Follow the instructions
and remember to make all files writable.Also its best to install all mods while using the default theme.
