Features of SMF Store
- Categories and Subcategory's (Unlimited levels) for products or use the store without categories
- PayPal payment support via a PayPal account, echecks, credit cards, and handles product refunds and chargebacks
- Handles multiple pages of products
- Supports digital products that can be downloaded from the store
- Multiple downloads can be added to a product
- Downloads can include license key information
- Secure digital downloads only active after payment has been completed.
- Ability to set download limits for each file
- Admin has the option to reset the number of downloads for each user if they go over their limit
- Feature to send free products to a user on the forums
- Supports uploading of images for a product. Images will be resized according to the setting for the height and width
- Search transactions for users who purchased products
- rWhen a user purchases the user can be moved to another member group and the member group can expire after a period of time
- Track the last time a user downloaded a digital product and how many downloads a user has left
- Rating of Products on scale of 1 to 5 stars. Store Admin's can delete ratings and view who rated a product

Now, if you will write a payment gateway for http://www.safepaysolutions.com/index.php (http://www.safepaysolutions.com/index.php) Safepay which is very similiar to PAYPAL but without all the anal rules, you got yourself a customer and if it is half as good as gallery, then............. ;D

I imagine it is a little new for that Jumpman, but I will tell you, SMFhacks does extremely good work and the tech support is unbelievable.

I need SAFEPAYSOLUTIONS.com or ccbill integrated. That would make a good mod GREAT!

Planned later on to support 2Checkout,Authorize.Net,ccBill,Google Checkout, WorldPay
The hard part is they do not all support the same features.

For those of us who operate mature sites (PG-14 and above) the only payment processors you listed who allow our product is ccbill.
I found Safepaysolutions.com purely by accident and signed up with them. Their IPN is extremely simple, moreso that PAYPAL and I think that integration would be a breeze.
And Safepay's only restriction against mature content is No Child Porn, which is a no brainer.
Paypal and the rest have gotten so anal over what you can and cannot do and of course Google checkout is about as bad. Plus Google has some really strange requirements when it comes to disbursing your funds.

Christ, I am looking and it appears it is all web based although there has to be API's avaiilable. I will send them a message and see what they can tell me

yes my new one, use the link at the top, to get to it. Just got done configuring everything so please feel free to give me comments on any errors or what not you run across both for my sake and Hacks sack. Ive got it setup for guests to view to do more such as comment or rate you'll have to become a member not that it would hurt you any ;)

Will it install on any theme?

No. But it is easy to update each theme to include the store.

if your using tinyportal all you need to do is add a link in your menu block ;) or for themes its only adding a button, no biggy.

Is there a way to specify multiple paypal emails? For instance, someone wants to sell a product in my store but wants the paypal payment to go to his email. Likewise if I want to sell something and want the payment to go to my paypal address.

That's not a feature for this product that would be something different like a user selling system.

Would it be difficult to add that feature? I know the intention is a little different for this mod but it sure would open up a lot of new possibilities and uses.

Would take a lot of work. Depending on how much control each user would have over their products.

I was thinking more along the lines of the admin had full controll over the store as now but could specify a different paypal email for each product if necessary.
For example, I have a person that wants to sell a book on my site and I've love to use the new mod to do that. I could send the payments directly to his PP email for the book and like wise if I wanted to sell a product I could specify my PP email.

Gets a little tricky. Currently working on a shopping cart system for the store and the total for all products would be passed to the PayPal account on file.
Could make it work for buy it now only items but not shopping cart items since there could be many different PayPal accounts in an order.

Ah, I see.
I think making it work for just "buy it now" would do the trick. That way I/we could take on products from members and have the funds sent to them. Admin takes a cut.
