Title: Call to undefined function mysql_free_result()
Post by: Ian M on September 04, 2017, 05:34:42 am
Hi all.

Have got the above error whilst changing server and reinstalling everything etc and i'm unable to access the forum.

I have renewed my licence and downloaded the latest version which I assume fixes this. My question is, is there anything I can edit in the installed version just so I can get back in and uninstall it?  Obviously I can parse the mod and manually edit everything out but it would be quite a task, so I'm just looking for a quicker solution !!

Many thanks.

What was the line number and file of the error? You might be able to upload the new version of badge awards core files to fix.
Or you can manually do the edits at https://www.smfhacks.com/smf-package-parser.html

Unfortunately there's no line number reported on the error. I'm only getting the message as shown in the topic title.

Manually do the edits at https://www.smfhacks.com/smf-package-parser.html upload the new version and follow all the edits replace the old code with the new one if it changed.

You also need to be on at least SMF 2.0.14 as well since that has PHP7 support
