I was wondering if someone exits before checkout with items in their shopping cart, will the system send them an email after a certain period of time reminding them that they didn't complete their purchase?

It does not currently but that is a good feature request.

I had a previous system that done that and at an admin level you could set the time limit the system would hold the item before removing the items from their shopping cart. This of course only pertained to registered member purchases. Guest exiting before checkout lost theirs immediately.

The item's currently don't get removed I believe only if the guest session is closed.

I'm still interested in the MOD. It is going to be a couple of weeks before I make the purchase.

So there is two parts.
One notification email on items left cart after a period of time configurable in the admin area.
I would also like to see the verbage that you have in mind for the emails
And second part time to delete items in the cart.

The text should only Pull from the database: The real first name of the registrant.,
The subject: "You have items Left in you cart" and where.
It should make reference to the list of items they had placed in the shopping cart and when exiting. Actual pictures of the items as they were listed for sale
I should contain links back to the site shopping cart with the items still ready for checkout.
All of the details with the other content should be made customizable by the store admin.
