Hi SMF Hacks,

This may not be related to your mod but I noticed the other day that when I try to send a PM to someone the Member name auto fill does not work any more.

What I mean is when you send a Personal Message to someone you start to type a name into the To: box and member names appear as suggestions.. this stopped working on my forum and I ask for support on the main SMF site and someone suggested this:

Somewhere in your code (most likely index.template.php), you have:
window.onload=smfgallery_insert;
replace it with:
function listen(evnt, elem, func) {
    if (elem.addEventListener)  // W3C DOM
        elem.addEventListener(evnt,func,false);
    else if (elem.attachEvent) { // IE DOM
         var r = elem.attachEvent("on"+evnt, func);
    return r;
    }
}
listen("load", window, smfgallery_insert);
Is this something to do with SMF Gallery Pro? Where would I find window.onload=smfgallery_insert; as it does not appear to be where they suggested?

Hi,

I am using SMF 2.0 and SMF Gallery Pro 3.0.25..

Assume the are users galleries in that the user created the gallery themselves?

Just upgraded from SMF 1.1.4

To their own Gallery within the SMF Gallery Pro gallery as an easy way to show pictures in their posts.. in the mod there is a link above the post box saying "Add image to post"

Would this work even if they haven't set-up a category or never used the gallery before?

My members tend to upload images to other sites like image shack and then link to them in their posts. I would like to encourage them to use the built in forum gallery...

ok, looks like there was a permission error on one of the other folders "0" I have changed that to 777 and now it works...

I have had my site moved to a new server. All the pictures in the gallery are still there and working but if anyone tries to upload a new picture they get a red x. The gallery folder is 777 and GD is installed. Any ideas?
