I do not know why, but it finally appeared.
Now my question is why does it do this? Do you have a solution? If not then the software is not useful for me and I will have to return it, if this is possible. :-( 6

Is it possible that the system bugs because I have deleted a few members? Could the fact that I use advanced profile fields, have an effect? (I imagine not, but I am trying to find why it does not work,)

Looks like the system does not work for me.
![]() Is there a place in the database I can see which email was sent. I would like to export them to see to whom the newsletter was sent to and find duplicates, because through the list I have seen that a few have been sent twice. ( I don't want to manually check 40 pages. ;-) I have seen a few user list through phpmyadmin like this one, newslist_11_03_15_12_49_03, but those that I see are only test runs that I made and contain only the few emails that I use to test the newsletter. It looks like the last table used is no where to be found. 8

How does this tool process the members when it sends newsletter. Does it start from #1 and then go to the end? If so, I will create a new user and see if I receive the email. It will give me a sign that all the newsletter emails have been sent.

I think something is wrong with my version.
I made one test. I sent one small newsletter to only one person. I received the email ok, but the system was still computing after a few minutes ( 3 to 5) Here are a few snapshots. Hope this helps you find the problem. ![]() 11

Ok Thanks.
Just to be able to compare, how long does it take to send 8500 newsletters of 1 1/2 page news with one logo, one or two really small pictures and maybe 5 or 6 links? Is there something that I can do on the server side to make it faster? Thanks 12

Any news on why the system would have stop sending emails?
I will be sending emails tonight. 13

Next week I will be sending my members the first newsletter. At that point I will have imported more then 8 000 members.
To make sure that everything goes well, Any best practices that I should follow to make sure that the newsletter is properly sent and completely delivered? Also, I will personalize the newsletter with their username. I use a VPS service. How long will it take to process. Are their some tweaks to my VPs that I should make to make for a faster delivery? Thanks 14

Ok. I resent the message.
I did what you told me to do when there was a message. I refresh the page. Here are my observations. Although I have only 480 members, the system sent more then 761 emails. I have stop refreshing the page because I realized when I went into the list and click on the newsletter that I was sending, there were 1463 emails. :-( Also, it took more than 1 hour and 30 minutes to send these emails. Is this normal? |
