I tried to install this amazing tagging system and I have the SMF 2.0 RC1.2
Installing it via the package manager goes well, only two problems.
One with the admin.php and the second with the Display.template.php
The admin.php is quickly resolved, but the Display.template.php not.
After some moving around and playing with the results, I found it!
I look and when I add a new post, I see the textbox with the tags.
But then when I want to save the data, I see a blank screen!
Not only that, but where does he displays all the tags at the bottom of the post? I have no idea. At the end it was safer to roll back and wait until there is a real version for the SMF 2.0 RC1.2

I had the whole thing working with the version 1.1.4. Everything went smoothly, amazing even. But ... shit
When I tried to logon the newly created forum, it started to complain that the forum databases were not compatible with (1.1.1 or something like it (forgot), and I use the 1.1.4. Could not login the newly created site.
1. Are there plans for the 1.1.4?
2. Are installing mods in those forums allowed with the SMF Multiforum System?

There is of course a multi-forum system. http://www.smfxxl.com/SMFXXL Multiforum System v 1.1.4 for SMF But here is a serious restriction. Only plain SMF 1.1.4 without mods are then allowed. It's really a pity, because it would be a good idea to have multiforum systems. If SMF would decide to split the database with users database and the database with the rest, then it would be very simply to use forums with the same userbase. Wim

I have installed the SMF Trader System. It looks nice, but there are better uses for such mod.
I am not totally sure if I understood it. You can rate a post? But only from the Profile from an user or am I wrong or did I install it incorrectly?
Anyhow, I would change the name Trade into Feedback and use it to collect points (like with Karma) for the posts of users and do something with the collected points.
I use Karma for one of my boards (Writing Center III), I renamed it Magic. The SHow module valuta is Galleons and it fits perfectly with the world of Harry Potter. The magic (Karma) works also fine, but can't integrate it fully with each other.
The SMF Trader System might fill that gap.
