Bugs / Move Category Bug« on: December 30, 2007, 06:15:52 am »
One of the moderators on my site has managed to move a category in her personal gallery so that it was it's own parent category! This obviously resulted in it not being displayed anywhere, along with the photos it contained (although you could still find them by the search facility).
I've had to manually hack the DB to get it back for her. When you click 'Edit' on a category, it allows you to change the parent category in the dropdown to itself. It allows this on both personal galleries and normal ones. Could be worth looking at for the next version ![]() 3

Just a couple of questions about member galleries.
I noticed in the Roadmap section for the 1.3 beta that it says that sub category counting for member galleries was enabled http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,1200.msg6887.html#msg6887 Does this mean that a member can create sub categories in their gallery and the totals display there, or should the total number of all pictures for all member galleries be displayed on the main index page (the same as for main galleries)? If not, is there either a way to show the total pictures in member galeries, or at least show the number of member galleries in the member gallery category? Most of my member seem to think that no one is creating their own galleries because no counts appear on the main index page ![]() Also, what is required to create a member gallery for someone? Basically, I have a forum with member's photos. I'd like to create member galleries for these posters and move their photos into these galleries so I can close that forum down. Thanks in advance. Again ![]() Andy 5

She gets the following error when trying to move from one gallery to another (non members and members)
8: Undefined index: cannot_smfclassifieds_manage http://path to my SMF/Sources/Errors.php Line: 337 I don't have SMF Classifieds installed! If she tries to edit a video (I have the video addin installed), she gets this :- 8: Undefined variable: videofilename http://path to my SMF/Sources/Gallery.php Line: 6858 And also on line 6658 When I (as admin) move a video, it will move between any galleries fine (non member and member), but still gives this error even though it moves fine :- 8: Undefined variable: videofilename http://path to my SMF/Sources/Gallery.php Line: 6858 And also on line 6658 When moving a picture between member and non member galleries (as Admin), it still moves fine, but I get the following errors :- (from main to member gallery) 8: Undefined index: cat http://path to my SMF/Sources/Gallery.php Line: 5983 (from member to main gallery) 8: Undefined index: usercat http://path to my SMF/Sources/Gallery.php Line: 5984 Hope that clarifies a bit ![]() 6

I've setup SMF Gallery Pro and set permissions to allow one of our site moderators control over it. However, whenever she tries to move a picture between galleries, she gets the helpfull message of 'an error has occured', but with no further idea as to what the error is exactly.
Anyone any ideas? Cheers in advance. Andy 7

I think the best place would be on the 'Add a Picture' and 'Bulk Add Pictures' pages.
I'd also like to change the main title of the gallery from 'Gallery' to something a bit more descriptive for my site. I have no probs with editing php / SMF pages ![]() 9

Is there any way to add some form of image posting guidelines (as in copyright content, porn etc) anywhere in SMF Gallery Pro? I haven't seen any options for this, so which file(s) would I need to edit to fit something like this in?
Cheers in advance. Andy
