There is in fact a Mature Content warning but make sure to explain what mature content is as some of our members were using it for images with no mature content lol. i guess they know it will get more views.

Let me know as well about 1& 2 as those would be nice additions to any gallery.

I have seen this when surfing around looking at other smf gallery pro sites and am wondering how they do it. It seems possible to make two columns pf catagories so you have two shorter catagories side by side rather than one long one. Its been a while since I've run across one of these sites but after searching through 23 pages of threads posted about gallery mods and hacks, I simply cannot find anything about it.

Hopefully someone here knows what I am talking about but if I run across one of these sites I'll come back with a link to show you. I had a few bookmarked for future ref but Firefox bit the dust and lost my bookmarks

Has there been any progress on this as I see others are now asking in other threads that appear to be being ignored altogether.

Let me explain the importance of this matter. When we bought the pro version, it was because we have a member based art site. If this were simply a private site with my pictures or such, what you offer is fine with the free versions...but then again, there are about two or three dozen other software gallerys available free that offer more features than what your pro version does. Many who buy the pro version are doing it for a more professional purpose and want something to integrate into their SMF software.

Members posting to the galleries don't always have the time to look through every gallery because unlike many communities, the art community is more like one big family. Members tend to belong to several art sites and so often, time is important. Seeing several rows of thumbs for the latest pictures uploaded is all but a necessity for these members.

If we simply could make three rows with 12 images and an arrow allowing them to view the next twelve most recent...that would be absolutely awesome and you would attract more sales from people with member oriented websites.

Now, if you click the "View Gallerys Stats" link at the bottom of the page, it shows you the links for the last ten recent images posted from the combined galleries. That is ok but people want to see the thumbs so they know if they commented on the image at another site or if the material may be something they may not approve of...seeing the thumb then is more than enough and seeing the image larger and more detailed isn't what they want.

The problem seems to be that you can have up to 20 thumbs within each gallery but the code to show 20 thumbs at the bottom of the main gallery page, 20 images from the combined galleries, is not easily found. But the code must exist because the View Gallery Stats option proves that the software sees the ten most recently added images and links to them...just needs a slight change to show thumbs and make the thumbs visable upon entering the gallery.

Your gallery is what we needed and we're not asking for anything fancy. We are trying to find someone who can modify the software but we don't feel we should have to pay someone to do something almost every free gallery software program is capable of offering. Can someone please give this a serious consideration as we have been asking for several months and its clear others want this hack or mod as well now.

Any progress on this or maybe some other mods available we might use in place of what comes with SMF Gallery Pro? We have an art site and members appreciate being able to see multiple rows of images in Recent Pics. We had the free Coppermine gallery and although it doesn't have such a mod, the code did allow us to alter the number of rows if we altered the code. This software is very similar in many ways but we have yet to identify the string of code that might allow us to change the rows.

We bought the gallery software because we needed something more integrated with SMF TP but two major problems were revealed out of the box as enlarging pictures seems to work in reverse and the recent pics. What has us confused is that when you enter a gallery you can obviously see more than four thumbs and multiple rows.

We do understand that Recent Pics from all gallerys might be more difficult but our biggest concern is that the gallery comes with one years support I believe we were told and should this issue extend past the one year mark then should you fix the problem we won't be allowed access to the resolution.

We're happy with the software but I hope you can understand that in buying it we did expect it to have certain features the free gallery software includes.

So if you can't hack or mod the code to allow us to add more Recent Pictures, is there an alternative mod or hack which might be compatible or can be made compatible with SMF Gallery Pro for this?
