One tip I like to do is level 2 caching on the forums it really helps also moving user uploaded avatars to its own directory
This is shared hosting without any caching enabled. I am kicking around going to VPS, but I do not wish to spend the extra money right now for it not to be the problem. I thought I had uploaded avatars in their own directory, but it looks like they are camping out in the attachments directory. The bum deal about this is I have a mediawiki wiki going and I have zero slowdowns on that software. In fact, it is crazy fast. However, no users or anything with it, just me and non-logged page readers.

I don't think it is this mod so never mind. I uninstalled it and even though the spikes are farther between and less (spike to 3 seconds instead of 10), I still have the issue after about 10 to 20 page views. Thanks anyway.

Well, at first I thought it was an SSI issue, so I removed all of that code and only have SMF forums active. Then after much troubleshooting, this morning, I decided to start from scratch and uploaded a clean forum and put my mods back on. It did not take long to see the issue again. Note: this is not on every page view, just every 5 to 20 views the creation time will spike. I only have 30 or so guests active at a time with only me logged in, so it is not a large site by any definition. I checked around using "status.php" located on the official forums and cannot find anything that jumps out as causing issues. A bit of what I am seeing is here: http://bbs.blackviper.com/index.php/topic,2844.0.html

Have you experienced any page creation issues with this modification installed? I am currently experiencing extreme delays with this modification with regards to page creations upwards of 10 seconds. If not, I will try to isolate further.
BV EDIT: this is using SMF 2.0 RC3

As far as I can tell with my current google adsense injection, it only does HTML code, but I will see what I can do. Thanks for the rapid reply.

The explanation clears things up for me. I was wondering how this feature works also.

I know this is an SMF addon, but I am wondering if you ever considered a Mediawiki extension to integrate Ad Seller Pro for it? If not, that is fine, but I just have not figured out how to do it yet.

Ok, after posting the above and kicking the thought around in my head for awhile, I understand what you mean by tricky and possible overlapping permissions. I will figure out another method. Thanks for all you do.

Premium Member (custom group) with 0+ posts = zero ads. Regular Member with 0+ post - ads. Epic Member with xyz posts = zero ads (regardless of Premium Membership...). So, custom groups override post based?

Still using SMf 1.1.11? Just curious as to your reasons behind this.

As far as I can tell, currently, the member group permissions (who can see the ads) is based upon standard member groups and custom ones. Can this be changed to include post based groups? I would like to have my Premium Members, regardless of post count, not see the ads, but also very active members, based upon post count, also not to see the ads, and I currently cannot determine a way to do this. Thanks in advance for all you do.

Removing the extra dot did it. Thanks!

Yeah, nothing triggers in the error log.

Attempting to install nets the error. First, I uninstalled 1.0.2 and installed 1.0.3.1 with error. Then I reinstalled 1.0.2 and then tried the upgrade option in the package manager and same error. Nothing in error log, but will clear it and try again.

Attempting to go from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3.1 and I get this error: Unable to find package file!
I tried uninstalling 1.0.2 and installing clean 1.0.3.1 but no go. Same thing trying to upgrade from 1.0.2. Any thoughts?
