Was the best function added to my iB gallery. My users are non existent in my gallery as they find it way too confusing to create the gallery let alone upload photos.

Something looks funky with gd see if they changed it recently it should not fail for the first and last error.
And the middle error looks like it is not renaming the file with the whole path. The gallery tries rename(/web/sites/roseking/corysrus.com/smf/gallery/0/1_08_01_08_9_21_26.jpg_thumb,/web/sites/roseking/corysrus.com/smf/gallery/0/thumb_1_08_01_08_9_21_26.jpg) but the error says rename(/gallery/0/1_08_01_08_9_21_26.jpg_thumb,/web/sites/roseking/corysrus.com/smf/gallery/0/thumb_1_08_01_08_9_21_26.jpg)
Just got my host on IM and had him take a look. GD wasnt even installed.....He had to rebuild this server from scratch and GD did not get installed. Thanks for all your help ! Veldfire

Does this file exist? /gallery/0/1_08_01_08_9_21_26.jpg_thumb
Has anything changed recently with your hosting? The error on line 1314 is really odd
Yes, that file exists until I delete it because all it shows is the red x for thumbnails although a full size photo when you click on the red x. No, nothing has changed with my host at all as far as I can tell. Is there something I should specifically ask them ?

Check the permissions on the gallery folder and if you apache check the apache error log. Try changing the permissions on gallery.php to 755
For the error log if you are using a custom language for the gallery make sure the following is in the language file for the gallery $txt['gallery_stats_listall'] = '(List All)';
Gallery folder permissions are set to 777 and changed then gallery.php to 755 (no access to apache logs). Still having the same issue with no thumbnail. Text issue fixed, thanks. Error log shows the following: in_array() [<a href='function.in-array'>function.in-array</a>]: Wrong datatype for second argument File: /Sources/Gallery.php Line: 5077 rename(/gallery/0/1_08_01_08_9_21_26.jpg_thumb,/web/sites/roseking/corysrus.com/smf/gallery/0/thumb_1_08_01_08_9_21_26.jpg) [<a href='function.rename'>function.rename</a>]: No such file or directory File: /Sources/Gallery.php Line: 1395 in_array() [<a href='function.in-array'>function.in-array</a>]: Wrong datatype for second argument File: /Sources/Gallery.php Line: 1314

Hacks,
Upgraded to the 1.3.9 and now when I go to upload a new image I get an HTTP 500 error and when I refresh back to the page the thumbnail photo is the dreaded red x but the full size photo is fine ? In addition nothing new is showing up under the "Recent Pictures" area either ?
Error Log is filled with the following:
Undefined index: gallery_stats_listall File:/languages/Gallery.english.php (mainview sub template - eval?) Line: 3365
Undefined index: gallery_stats_listall File:/languages/Gallery.english.php (mainview sub template - eval?) Line: 3353
Undefined index: gallery_stats_listall File:/languages/Gallery.english.php (mainview sub template - eval?) Line: 3341
Undefined index: gallery_stats_listall File: /languages/Gallery.english.php (mainview sub template - eval?) Line: 3329
in_array() [<a href='function.in-array'>function.in-array</a>]: Wrong datatype for second argument File: /Sources/Gallery.php Line: 5077
in_array() [<a href='function.in-array'>function.in-array</a>]: Wrong datatype for second argument File: /Sources/Gallery.php Line: 1314
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Veldfire

I suggested that sometime ago here. Unfortunately, its not come to fruition and has made my gallery much less used than I would like. If you don't have a tech savy group of members you will soon see what I am experiencing as the lack of an automatic creation of each members gallery has severely limited participation.

Are those pictures from a private gallery or password protected?
They weren't before the upgrade ? Is there a way I can see if they are now ?

I upgraded using the 1.3.6upgrade zip and now the "Recent photos" on my header are correct but the one's when you go inside the gallery are old ? Any idea how I can correct this ?
TIA, Veldfire

It this a custom language file other than english.php?
Here is a list strings added since 1.2 http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,1244.0.html
Nope, just a normal english language file. I had to manually overwrite the old file it seems as the new one didn't take. Good to go now ! Thanks.

Not sure if this is a bug or not but I just installed the upgrade and some of the checkboxes in my admin have no text after them to notify me of their use ?
I've attached 2 screen shots so you can see them.
Thanks, veldfire

is there any help dosent it say support
I suppose you wanted Hacks to just drop what he was doing and run over here and help you ! He's a one man show who does this all to help, not to be blasted because he didn't reply to your post which is less then 24 hours old ! As to your question, if your adding them via the package manager then you don't need to worry about them as it will be handled internally. Most mods only install to the default theme. For many mods you install, you will have to do the theme edits to your custom theme manually. Manual installation of mods. http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=402That gives you a basic overlay of how manually installing mods works... Then use SMF Package Parser: http://www.smfhacks.com/smf-package-parser.htmlUpload a mod to that, select 'theme edits' and make the necessary edits to your theme as indicated by the parser.
