Feature Requests / Watermark Optional
« on: April 09, 2008, 07:14:00 am »
Would it be possible to add the feature of making the watermark an option which the users can enable/disable?

Aha, there was a trailing slash missing from the gallery url so it was saving files in the forum folder with names like gallery1_08_04_08_3_57_00.JPG
Thanks for your help M 3

That file is not in the folder, and the folder has permissions 777.
Any ideas? Matt 4

Yes, I can confirm after a couple of tests that when uploading a new picture to the gallery- not errors are added to the log.

Yeah it doesn't seem to be saving the images into the gallery folder when they're uploaded.
The forum error log is empty: Quote No messages... 6

Hi there,
I was trying out the Watermark settings, and now the Gallery is not showing newly uploaded images. I have disabled the watermark but that hasn't helped. I have GD installed, and the gallery path and url are correct on the settings page. Here is an example page: http://www.poweriserpages.com/forum/gallery.html;sa=view;id=1405 Thanks for any help, Matt 7
SMF Gallery Lite / Re: Upgrading to Pro« on: March 09, 2007, 04:12:33 am »
Ah, I found the answer:
SMF Gallery Pro comes with the ability to upgrade from SMF Gallery Lite. It is easy to upgrade just uninstall the Lite edition of the gallery (it will keep all the pictures and database information) So I'll go ahead and buy it this evening Matt 8
SMF Gallery Lite / Upgrading to Pro« on: March 09, 2007, 04:09:53 am »
Hey there,
I currently have SMF Gallery Lite installed on my website: http://www.poweriserpages.com/gallery And I've decided that I'd like to buy and have Pro installed instead. Is there an upgrade script that I can buy so that all the images, comments categories etc. already in the Gallery are preserved? Thanks, Matt 9

Ok I'll guess I'll have a go at coding it.
Shall I post the patch here? 10

So anything about counting subcategory links?

Yeah, if you could that'd be great. It'd only need to count links down to the first level subcategory.

I've just started using smf links on my website:
http://www.poweriserpages.com/links Really happy with it- except one thing. In the Total Links column, it does not count the links within the categories contained within the category. e.g. if my categories are main1 sub1 and if sub1 has 30 links in it, and there are no other links in the system- on the main page it says the total links in main1 is 0. Is there any code I can insert to make it count the links in subcategories? Thanks, Matt
