Is there a way to make it so that my members can add short video, and sound files?

SMF Gallery Lite / I know there is a simple solution to this, but ....« on: July 31, 2008, 06:40:38 pm »
Ive used SMF Gallery Lite and pro in the past... I almost went ahead, and ordered pro because I remember how easy it was to work with on another site I put together.
Unfortenatly its been a few years, and for some reason I cant seem to get this to work right. Loaded Gallery lite1.8.2 to smf 1.1.5. and thought everything looked good, but when I paste the gallery address in the browser all I get is the parental Index with placeholder. You can view it here http://www.wichitaparanormal.com/forum/gallery/ Im sure its something simple Im forgetting to do, or missing. Could someone please help. I plan on upgrading as soon as I know the bugs are worked out. Thanks Shane 4

ummmmm... oops
I downloaded it, but forgot to actually install it.... Ummm... IM going to set over here now. While I have your attention. Is there anyway to move the thumbnails in the gallery to the top of the page. For example on this page http://berettadiscussion.com/index.php?action=gallery You see the catagories are at the top, and you have to scroll down to look at the thumbnails. Is there anyway to make it where the thumbnails are at the top, and you have to scroll down to get to the catagories? Just wondering. Thank you for all your help. Great program! 10

Im still having a problem.
Here is a link: http://berettadiscussion.com/index.php I have been trying to place this in a small box, but I would much rather it be one of the large middle boxes. Not sure if thats possible or not. 13

I thought with SMF pro you could set it up to show random photo thumbnails on tiny portal page. And what I mean is like a set of 4 or 6 across the top somewhere. So far I have not figured that out. Any help?
I also tried just setting up the random picture block, but got an error. Code: [Select] Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ssi_galleryrandom() in /home/ksshane/public_html/berettadiscussion/Sources/Load.php(1733) : eval()'d code(35) : eval()'d code on line 1 Not sure what thats all about. I did install the pro version before unistalling the lite version. So I went back, and uninstalled both of them, and then reinstalled the proversion. No change. Did I miss a step. Did I need to reconfigure something? Thanks 14
SMF Gallery Lite / Re: auto resize« on: January 19, 2007, 03:15:58 pm »
Great, and thanks for the quick reply.
by the way.. great program, and I really look forward to switching to the pro version. Used coppermine last year, and my forum members hated it. They really like this program, and so do I. I told them we would test out the free version for a couple of months before making a decision, but its got such a great response Im defiantly keeping it, and like I said.. Going with the pro version in about a week.. Maybe sooner now.. 15
SMF Gallery Lite / auto resize« on: January 19, 2007, 03:07:54 pm »
I know that I am using the free version (for about another week), but I was wondering if there is anyway to allow people to download a picture, and if its say 2000 pixels make it so that SMF auto resizes the photo to 1000 pixels.
Is this possible? Is it an option with the pro version?
