Bugs / Re: Buik upload creating duplicates
« on: October 11, 2010, 11:15:36 am »
Thanks. Its odd because it varies from 5 images to 40 images. I'm not sure if its based on server load or bandwidth.

Thanks for seeing it and looking for a fix.

Bugs / Buik upload creating duplicates

3.0.6 and SMF 2.0 RC2

I noticed yesterday when I was uploading using the java builk up-loader it worked great at first then all of the sudden I started to see duplicates of images.

I would look at some of my thumbnails in a category and I noticed that I had some images that appeared to be duplicates of others. I decided to delete one of the duplicates. When I looked back in that category the other thumbnail appeared to have a missing image X. So of course I was a bit confused knowing that I deleted only one of them directly via the gallery.

I'm wondering if either my fast connection at work or the processor of the machine is spitting through images so fast that between resizing and water marking it might have/or be glitching a bit.

At first I was able to upload 40 images at a time smoothly then in some categories I was uploading as little as 5 or so images and it would have a problem.

Is it possible that the script is moving so fast that it could of possibly caused this? If so could there be a small say 1 second or 2 second delay implemented between image uploads on the bulk upload. I'd rather wait and be sure that an upload is perfect opposed to uploading at lighting speed and having doubts that my uploads might need to be double checked every time.

Just throwing things out there.

Bugs / Sub Categories
« on: October 01, 2010, 05:01:25 pm »
If/when you have subcategories it doesn't count up the totals. Unless I have a setting off that I can't see.

Examplel

MY TJ (5)
Wheeling (0)
--2005 (0)
---Tillamook (41)

Shouldn't Wheeling have (41) and shouldn't 2005 have (41)

Support / Re: How do you create a member gallery for some one else?
« on: September 28, 2010, 09:00:34 pm »
Thanks. Kinda a vague way of finding and fixing it, but I'm surprised I didin't see that earlier when I was creating my own LOL.

Thanks for the heads up and I'll be glad to remember that and at least my mods cant screw things up because they don't know the trick. ;)

Support / How do you create a member gallery for some one else?
« on: September 28, 2010, 08:42:55 pm »
I have a member who uploaded a bunch of Images, but I need to create a Category for them since they forgot to create one them for them self? I can do it myself, but how about for others?

I found the URL to move an image, but since he hasn't created a gallery yet I can't move his 3 images into his gallery.

Feature Requests / Bulk selecting of image code
« on: September 28, 2010, 04:13:51 pm »
Other picture sharing websites allow a user to post photos and then click on a photo followed by a generate code so you can copy and paste several BBC codes or HTML into a web page.

I'm sure it would be a javascript nightmare, but that would be really nice for my site.

Feature Requests / Let user pick bulk upload method
« on: September 28, 2010, 03:32:22 pm »
Is it possible to allow the user to pick the Bulk Upload method? The reason I ask is this. My phone easily allows for uploading with the text box, but a friend of mine reports he can not using the fancy version. It can be as simple as entering the Buik area and having two links side by side explaining the differences with a click here to use. Is it possible to have an option to use which one the user would like to use if/when the bulk uploader option is chose in the admin area.

I would also like to edit the bulk upload page and mention that after the files are uploaded you would need to edit each picture with a discription opposed to inputing it prior to hitting the upload button like you do with the text box fields. I wouldn't have an issue doing manually if you could point me to the file.

Bugs / Re: Buik update, click through slide show, note - 3.0.6
« on: September 28, 2010, 03:18:15 pm »
I'm assuming its just an install right over the old version or do you have to un-install 3.0.6 then install 3.0.7?

Took a chance and looked around and figured it out. ;)

When you report an image is it emailed anywhere or only to the admin panel?
The reason I ask is I didn't recieve an email as adming and when you visit the adming panel I see this  Approve Images (0) but there was a reported image.

In admin panel under Manage Categories it shows Total Images 0, but I have images in the Members Galleries

Under Category permission list its blank even thou I created a test category along with the Members Gallaries

Oh another one I found. When you view the stats my bar graphs didn't have an image. You had it pointing at /templates/images/default/bar.gif but in that directory I didn't have that image. I had a /templates/images/default/bar_stats.png , but I downloaded that image and simply renamed it to bar.gif and reuploaded it so now it shows in gallery stats.

Not sure if it was messing from the 3.0.6 build or if it was a simple type'0 but none the less I wanted you to know about it.

I've used IE 8 and FF 3.5
Like I said I wonder if its Aeva that is messing up the tagging since its been known to do other things unless you set it to use an older form of JavaScript, which I do have enabled.

What I am is confused with is you said thats the nature when you have one image shown. If you click on an image and it pops out of the screen you would think there would be nav arrows to slide over to the next image without loading the page unless I'm thinking of something else.

Like you suggested I disabled Bulk Uploading until there is a fix.

After install of 3.0.6 on 2.0 RC2 I noticed the following

When I try to bulk upload i get the following error, but it still uploads and appears to resize images as well. I haven't tried to bulk upload with Water Marks to see if the same error occurs.

An error occurred:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: json_encode() in /home/kizer/public_html/forum/Sources/Gallery2.php on line 5188

When you view the gallery and use either Highslide or Lightbox have navigation buttons so you can not select the next photos forward or backwards. However when you select slideshow it works perfectly fine.

When you use the Note URL there is a box that pops up on the image to put on some text, but before you can use it the screen flashes and you are brought to the index page.

I do have the following mods installed just in case there is a conflict.

AEVA Video Embeder
