I spent quite a while looking at this and it appears to be a bigger issue than our sites or the mods on them. The Adseller program is great and it does not cause issues. Its the ads we place on them. Most of the banners I checked don't validate. I've decided to not lose sleep over it. Keep up the great work here.

Just for the heck of it I ran a page from SMF Hacks and got errors as well?
Same type of errors I'm getting related to ads.
It seems like Java Script ads don't have the same issue? I've got a Google ad on my site and it checks fine.

I just checked http://uscleanersnetwork.com for XHTML verification and all kinds of banner related errors. Some of these are older banners I've had for a while with no issues. The main index validates OK with just a Google ad. Any other pages that have other ads enabled get the error codes. This appears to have happened since we changed the adseller2.php file. Any ideas? Also noticed that sitemap xml gets a parse code error. Not sure if these two issues are related?

I think we have a winner! The ads seem to be contained to the one board now. Will there be any changes to newer versions to compensate for SEO mods? Really appreciate the help with this.

I uploaded the file.
Checked scrubmeister area and found this
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' l.boards)) AND (a.showinallboards = 1 OR FIND_IN_SET(, a.boards)))
AND ' at line 9 File: /home/uscleane/public_html/smf/Sources/adseller2.php Line: 2158
.........So the code needs some tweaking?

I did that?
Guess that's why I'm at a loss here. Thought it looked straight forward enough?
If I check any of the positions for the ad it shows in all forums. Not checked and it doesn't show anywhere. Unchecked all boards except the one that I want these ads to show in.
Did get one banner to show in that board index only. Can't seem to get anything else to work on that board without the whole site seeing them.
Just checked the error log and found a few errors that are ad related. I messed with settings for over an hour yesterday so I'm surprised there are only a few. Are these related to my issue?

I've been playing with the settings but can't seem to get what I want.
Have a board for a vendor that wants to show a series of his ads in that board only and exclude any other ads from other vendors.
Is this possible and if so how?
Seems to me the location settings for an ad apply to the whole forum. When I try to just pick a board for something to show in it still shows everywhere.

I was able to confirm it was the rewrite mod after I disabled it. Added the last code you gave me to the .htaccess. That fixed it after I dropped the extra i in index. Spent hours this morning checking all the Classified changes and files to make sure I hadn't done anything to them. Never occurred to me that it was a redirect issue. Thanks!

Tried that and I get an error code. Renamed the .htaccess to disable it and I'm back to "Nothing here to see!"?

Yes, I installed Simple SEF.
Just added that line of code to the .htaccess file but it didn't do anything.
Here's what I have now:
RewriteEngine On # Uncomment the following line if its not working right # RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA] RewriteRule ^classifieds/?$ /index.php?action=classifieds [L,QSA]
Thanks for the help.

Have done some upgrading and mod installs on my site in the last few days.
"Nothing here to see! " is the screen when I click the link to Classified in the toolbar of my site. That is what is in the Classified index.php.?
I've checked and all the files seem to be in place. When I show classifieds on the board index it shows and you can click on a listing and see it as usual.
What am I missing?
