I need help please, this is a premissions related problem cause safe_mode.

When im installin most mods/and themes it all work fine, i can delete the directory change ifles etc, but i found when i want make copy of default theme, or install this SMF Ranks, the directory it created have premission 755 owner is some apache(33) that makes me unable to modify files, copy files inside the directory and i can't even delete the directory.

cause i can only control the files via FTP, can't change the flags to 777 cause owner is apache, my host told me that i can only control the directory using the script i installed it and not by FTP owner. So the host deleted the ranks/ directory for me.

Now im askin for help, if either i can create some script, that uses the Apache owner premisions and set the directory flag to 777 so i can control it via FTP, OR another way is i make some manual install of the hack, like create the ranks directory from FTP so it's 777, and then somehow install the hack manually?

Don't know why this hapening, but its annoying, my host told me they cant turn safe_mode off.

So when i install like theme from a file on my HDD it's ok cause it upload via ftp, but when install a mod that created some directory, from the Packaged page it's installin as Apache owner.

Best soulution would be if there exist some script like i said already, that either chmod 777 or set the owner to FTP instead Apache.

Thanks for any help or tip
