Short question, is SMF Gallery Pro 8.0, or for that matter, prior versions, compatible with php 7.0 and upwards?

Support / Gallery Pro extremely slow to load

We've been using Gallery Pro since version 4.0 and we've moved to a new server.

Real life has meant I wasn't able to update to 7.0.2, which is the last version I'd had before the updating stopped, again because of real life these past few years.

We updated from 5.0.3a to 7.0.2 and the loading time for the Gallery takes 5 seconds or longer. Many times the server times out with:

Query execution was interrupted (max_statement_time exceeded)
File: /usr/share/nginx/html/smf_forum/Sources/Gallery2.php
Line: 10754

Is there a way to fix this issue? Would moving further up the versions get us to a solution? I know we have a lot of files in the Gallery as well.

Thoughts would be welcome...

Support / Can there be two separate Galleries on one Forum?

Is it possible to install Gallery Pro such that there are two separate Galleries operating under a single site? I am trying to split content in a way that the membership of our forum can pick which Gallery that want to see specific images in.

Support / User filtering of images by tag

Is it possible for a user to specify a tag which if it appears on an image the Gallery will not display the image to them? By this I mean, is there a setting for a Gallery User where they can enter a tag like "blue" and after that anything with that tag will not be shown?

Feature Requests / Regenerate Keyword Database

It would be useful to regenerate the keywords used so when users make mistakes the now useless keywords are removed.

Is it possible to regenerate the keywords used? Some users put spaces rather than commas and now we have huge keywords that no longer exist on the miages after the user corrected their mistake which still appear in the keyword cloud on the main page of the Gallery.

Support / Bulk Uploader and Add Video not working

I'm confused, but bear with me please?

We purchased the video plugin for Gallery Pro and added it and that seemed to go alright.

The Admin can see the Add Video option but Regular Members cannot. I've checked permissions and the Add Video option is ticked.

Also, at the same time, we lost the Bulk Upload feature for all users...

Help?

Support / How to regenerate thumbnails?

I've needed to double the image size for thumbnails on our site and while the new uploads have the larger thumbnails, the earlier ones do not. How can I regenerate them?

Feature Requests / Thumbs Up Picture Vote System

Hello!

I was wondering if there was a way to take the voting system from the current 1-5 or starts votes and instead have a single button to press that would register a vote and nothing more.

In that case, the vote would read something like:

15 People Gave a Thumbs Up!

Is there a way to do so?
