Support / BadgeAwards2 Does not work with PHP7 / SMF 2.0.14
« on: May 17, 2017, 09:30:42 pm »
Hello.

BadgeAwards2 is not working with PHP7 on SMF 2.0.14.

Reason:
tango@web:/home/beta/public_html# grep -r 'mysql_free_result(' .
./Sources/badgeawards2.php:             mysql_free_result($dbresult);
./Sources/badgeawards2.php:             mysql_free_result($dbresult);
./Sources/badgeawards2.php:     mysql_free_result($request);
./Sources/BoardIndex.php:                       mysql_free_result($dbresult);

Support / Looking for "Holiday Badges", or something similar
« on: October 03, 2015, 03:58:00 pm »
Hello,

My forum has been using the SMF-Awards system for quite some time now, almost 5 months, and we've enjoyed it since our original release to our userbase.

As the Holidays approach, I'd like to be able to implement a "Halloween 2015", "Christmas 2015" badge, etc.

My original idea, go in the database, and give all the users on that day the badge. But if there is an easier way to do this, so I do not need to manually edit it, that would be great.

This will allow me to easier issue badges, like a 2-year anniversary, to only users registered for exactly 2 years on that day, instead of something like the account-birthday, which everyone will "eventually" get.

Thanks!

Presales for Products / Badge Awards
« on: June 29, 2015, 05:21:34 pm »
So I understand that the basis for badgeawards is if you complete basic tasks, you get a badge.

My question is: If my forum is already fully functional (we are approaching 150k posts), will members just seemlessly start earning these badges?

And is there a way to issue custom-awards to unqiue users. Say I want to issue silver-donor awards to users who donate $25 (manually) is this already possible, and if not would there be a way to pay SMFHacks to make a custom-version of this product for my forums, where I have both the automatic, and manual features.

Thank you for your time.
Regards,
balon
