« on: July 23, 2009, 03:43:11 am »
I am running SMF 1.1.10, Gallery Pro 1.4.5 and Video Addon 1.1.1.
Do I install Pro 2.5 over the current or do I need to uninstall 1.4.5 first?
Also do I need to uninstall Video Addon 1.1.1 first and install it after installing Pro 2.5?

Thanks.

Support / Batch Add Error
« on: May 31, 2009, 04:34:31 pm »
I have this error when I go to Admin/Gallery Configuration/Batch Add :

"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /lya_forum/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

My gallery folder is set to 777. What should I do to rectify this?

Support / No Uninstaller for Lite
« on: May 21, 2009, 07:53:17 pm »
I just purchased the Pro version yesterday and this morning I was trying to uninstall the Lite version 1.7.5.1 but this was what I received, "This package cannot be uninstalled, because there is no uninstaller! Please contact the mod author for more information." When I do a "List Files", this is what was listed:

   1. Gallery.english.php (7981 bytes)
   2. gallery.gif (873 bytes)
   3. Gallery.php (56225 bytes)
   4. Gallery.template.php (79876 bytes)
   5. galleryinstall.php (3019 bytes)
   6. package-info.xml (2305 bytes)
   7. Gallery.english-utf8.php (7981 bytes)
   8. ReadMe.txt (967 bytes)
   9. smfgallery108.xml (5333 bytes)
  10. smfgallery.xml (5743 bytes)
  11. gallery/placeholder.txt (33 bytes)

What should I do next?

Feature Requests / Bulk Transfer of Images
« on: May 21, 2009, 05:48:16 am »
I just purchased SMF Gallery Pro and I suggest that a feature to transfer multiple images from one category to another be considered in the next upgrade.

Thanks.

Presales for Products / Bulk transfer of images
« on: May 20, 2009, 12:24:16 am »
I am currently using SMF Gallery Lite 1.7.5.1 on my site which is running SMF 1.1.8 and TP 0.9.8. I plan to purchase the SMF Gallery Pro.

I have a couple of questions:
(1) Which is the latest version for my site?
(2) I know Pro can be used to upload multiple images at a time. Can it also transfer multiple images from one category to another?
(3) To install Pro, it is necessary to uninstall Lite first. Will the categories remain intact?
Thanks.

SMF Gallery Lite / Unknown Code Found in Gallery.php
« on: May 19, 2009, 09:30:56 pm »
In recent times there were many attacks on SMF sites by a user named krisbarteo. One of the things he did was to insert a code "base64_decode(xxxxxx)" in numerous files [xxxxxx refers to some undecipherable codes].

To be on the safe side, I tried to look for such a code in my php files. I found one in the Gallery.php file, Lite version 1.7.5, see below:

Code: [Select]
function ViewC()
{
die(base64_decode('UG93ZXJlZCBieSBHYWxsZXJ5IEZvciBTTUYgIG1hZGUgYnkgdmJnYW1lcjQ1IGh0dHA6Ly93d3cuc21maGFja3MuY29t'));
}

For curiosity, I downloaded version 1.8.2 and checked the Gallery.php file. The code is also found.

My question is "Is this a legitimate code?"

SMF Gallery Lite / Network Timeout?
« on: May 08, 2009, 08:26:25 pm »
My site uses SMF 1.1.8, TP 0.9.8 and Gallery Lite 1.7.5.1.
My gallery has 4 categories, one category consists of 370 pictures and the others have less than 100 each.

I had no issues for the past couple of years. However, in recent weeks, after I had  viewed a picture, the site hung. By the way, I use Firefox as my default browser. I then close Firefox and when I tried to get into the site again, the error message says "Network Timeout". It happens intermittently.

My questions are:
(1) Is there a limit to the number of pictures allowed in a category or, for that matter, in Gallery Lite?
(2) I had complained to my host but they said the problem is at my end. Is there a bug in Gallery Lite which I am not aware of?
(3) If I upgrade to Gallery Pro, will I have to re-upload all the pictures?

Thanks.

SMF Gallery Lite / SMF Gallery Lite Installation Error
« on: June 19, 2007, 05:17:56 am »
I am using SMF 1.1.2, TP 0.9.8 and SMF Arcade 2.0.8. I had aslso installed the County Flags mod. I did not have any errors.

When I installed SMF Gallery Lite 1.7.5.1, I get a modifications.english.php Test Failed.

I had added this to the themes\default\language\modifications.english.php

Code: [Select]
//Begin SMF Gallery Text Strings
$txt['smfgallery_title'] = 'Gallery For SMF';
$txt['smfgallery_menu'] = 'Gallery';
$txt['smfgallery_version'] = '1.0 Lite';
$txt['smfgallery_admin'] = 'Gallery Configuration';

//Permissions
$txt['permissiongroup_smfgallery'] = 'SMF Gallery';

$txt['permissionname_smfgallery_view'] = 'View SMF Gallery';
$txt['permissionhelp_smfgallery_view'] = 'Allows the user to view the Gallery';
$txt['cannot_smfgallery_view'] = 'You are not allowed to view the Gallery';

$txt['permissionname_smfgallery_add'] = 'Add Picture';
$txt['permissionhelp_smfgallery_add'] = 'Allows the user to add a picture.';
$txt['cannot_smfgallery_add'] = 'You are not allowed to add a picture.';

$txt['permissionname_smfgallery_edit'] = 'Edit own Picture';
$txt['permissionhelp_smfgallery_edit'] = 'Allows the user to edit a picture.';
$txt['cannot_smfgallery_edit'] = 'You are not allowed to edit a picture.';

$txt['permissionname_smfgallery_delete'] = 'Delete own Picture';
$txt['permissionhelp_smfgallery_delete'] = 'Allows the user to delete a picture.';
$txt['cannot_smfgallery_delete'] = 'You are not allowed to delete a picture.';

$txt['permissionname_smfgallery_comment'] = 'Leave Comments';
$txt['permissionhelp_smfgallery_comment'] = 'Allows the user to leave comments on a picture.';
$txt['cannot_smfgallery_comment'] = 'You are not allowed to leave comments.';

$txt['permissionname_smfgallery_report'] = 'Report Pictures/Comments';
$txt['permissionhelp_smfgallery_report'] = 'Allows the user to report pictures and comments.';
$txt['cannot_smfgallery_report'] = 'You are not allowed to report content.';

$txt['permissionname_smfgallery_autoapprove'] = 'Auto Approve Pictures';
$txt['permissionhelp_smfgallery_autoapprove'] = 'Pictures do not need to wait for approval.';

$txt['permissionname_smfgallery_manage'] = 'Manage Gallery';
$txt['permissionhelp_smfgallery_manage'] = 'Allows the user to add/delete/edit all catagories. Delete Comments, Delete Pictures, Approve Pictures';
$txt['cannot_smfgallery_manage'] = 'You are not allowed to manage gallery.';

//END SMF Gallery Text Strings

I still get the same error "Test Failed" error.

Any ideas what I should do next? Thanks.
