SMF Hacks..

I just had a few members ask me if was possible to one click with a mouse on a BB Code box so they can just simply paste the link to the photo in a thread?  A fuction similar to photobucket where you can like on the link and it auto copies it.

Not sure that is even possible but wanted to ask.

Support / Intersting error, need some advice
« on: November 21, 2009, 10:29:13 pm »
hello

running Gallery Pro 2.5.6 wiht SMF 1.10

Just tried to upload a photo after a full reinstall  (I have loaded other photos today with no isisue)

Error is

Database Error
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' height = , width = WHERE ID_PICTURE = 1004 LIMIT 1' at line 1
File: /home/mydatafile/public_html/smf/Sources/Gallery.php
Line: 5019

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.10, while your database is at version 1.1.5. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

Any clue on this one?

Where does Gallery Pro put images?  I have to reload GP also, if I just upload it will the imeages for each user still be there or do I need to back up an FTP file?

I am going this in the morning (SAT)

If I did that will gallery pro work?  If so after I migrate to the new version of SMF will I have to reinstall Gallery Pro?

Lastly when i do that, will all my photos still be there?

Thanks

Feature Requests / Bulk Load question
« on: August 16, 2009, 09:19:34 pm »
Any plans to offer the bulk load as a multi check screen verses the one by one?

It would be faster to open the bulk load and check all the photos you want within a folder over one by one.   Is that even a possibility?

Support / Rotate images
« on: July 10, 2009, 09:27:08 pm »
Hello SMF Hacks

Just wondering, on my Mac, I can orientate a photo vertial or horizontal...when I upload it using bulk it stay native.  So when I have a vertical shot, it shows a horizontal.  Is there an edit to rotate the image?

Thanks

RR

Hello SMFHacks

Got a quesiton.  We (my mods) are still testing on our live site until we open it up to the users.

Having some issues with the text water mark as well as the image watermark.

First:  The text is super large on some images and very small on others. For exampale (I hope you can see these)

(Removed photos)

Would like to solve this mystery first.  I suspect it has something to do with the orignal size of image each user is posting.  Is there a way to fix that in the settings to make it proportionate?

Thanks

RR

Support / A few pro questions
« on: April 26, 2009, 09:37:18 am »
Hello

Using SMF 1.1.8  (on a test site)
TP 9.8
SMF Gallery Pro

Having a few issues.  First, permissions, didn't see a permissions set for Gallery so that users could create their own gallery.  Did a search here and found a Sources/Permissions fix, so I uploaded it and over wrote the original file. Seemed to work.

Now when I bulk load a test users, I get a blank screen   http://www.priakos.com/smf/index.php?action=gallery;sa=bulk2

Sometimes I get the confirmation that images were uploaded yet, they don't appear.

ANy help would be great, thanks

RR
