Dear support,
I would like to remove the "Description" column from my categories view. Is there a section of code I can comment out to get rid of this somewhere please?
Thanks.

Dear support,
When I visit the home page to my forum, is there a way of making the Forum Search box include classified listings? Whenever I search, it just shows results from the forum and not the classifieds.
If that is not going to be possible, can you possibly suggest a code alteration I can make to the forum code to make the forum search box actually the Classifieds search box instead?
Basically, I need people to search the classifieds more than the forum itself as my site is primarily a classified ad site.
Thank you in advance for you help.

I have found a problem when editing a listing - all the custom field data is cleared. In this scenario, I am using SMF v. 1.1.5 with SMFClassifieds 1.2.6
If I follow these steps: 1. Log in as a standard user. 2. List a new auction in a section that has custom fields. 3. attach pictures as necessary. 4. review the post - all looks fine. custom field information is all there ok. 5. Now EDIT the listing you just made.
By clicking on EDIT, This seems to have cleared what I had in the custom fields! As these fields are mandatory, I have to now put all the information in again before I can save any changes I may have made in the description.
On a side note, I took a look in the Forum log and there are no errors in there.
Any help please? thank you.

Can anyone tell me how to reduce the gap in between my categories on the main classifieds page please?
I seem to have the following look to my classifieds page:
Category A <Large gap - 1 full row depth> Category B <Large gap - 1 full row depth> Category C <Large gap - 1 full row depth>
As you can imagine, if I have 50 categories, it all looks a bit... eye numbing! I would like to make the gaps between my listings about half the row depth if possible. Is this a classifieds issue or is it a theme issue?
Thanks.

Dear support,
I am in the UK and wish my default currency to be in £ Pounds Sterling.
I have set the currency in the SMF Classified Settings to "Pounds Sterling" but that does not seem to make it default throughout the rest of the site.
Examples are:
1. When a user lists a new item for sale, it defaults to "U.S. Dollars." in the picklist.
2. When a user views a listing that has been placed in Pounds Sterling, it shows the currency sign as a square () rather than a Pound sign (£).
That is all I have found so far on this subject. I'll look out for more. If you have any suggestions on how I can make it default completely to pounds sterling, that would be most appreciated.
Cheers.

Hi,
I am wanting to make it so that whenever anyone visits my forum, the first view they see is the Classifieds section, rather than the board index. Can you possibly explain how I can achieve this please?
Thanks!

Hi,
I have just installed SMF 1.1.4 from fresh and not changed a thing. I then purchased, and installed SMF Classifieds. Install worked ok. I got onto the initial setup page. I noticed that the menu items on the left hand side (still using the default SMF theme) were missing. I have just tried installing the SMF Trader to see if that enables it to work. - still no menu options. Even the SMF Trader menu is missing as well!
If i go into permissions, they are all blank for SMF Classifieds also.
Can you give me a pointer please? Thank you kindly.

Just another small issue here. When a user submits a photo into one of my categories, I have set the category to post a full size picture into a board on the forum. Works a treat. However, when I look at the post it created, the picture is way out of the bounds of the frame. I do have a work around for this: If I edit the post and then save it, the picture gets resized to be inside the frame. I am guessing here, but there must be something in the post.template.php that tells a post to display an image as a certain maximum size. Something that is not present in the gallery post submission php? Or am I way off? Thanks for any advice.

Hi, I am having a bit of an issue moving my root level categories up and down the list. I create a new category called "Your Cars!" and then moved it up the list by clicking the UP button. As shown here: It went as far as where it is on the pic above, but when I attempted to move it further up, it gave me this error: So being a clever boy (against nature), I tried to move the "Non Club Events" category down. And it said there is no category below the current one! arghh. It's stuck I can move "Your Cars!" further down the list, but not any higher than on pic 1. Thanks in advance for your help.
