Support / Categories alphabetic .... ^.^;;
« on: March 02, 2012, 07:38:02 am »
Heya's,

Putting this up as on my gallery pro (latest version) I have never been able to make the categories arrange themselves alphabetically.

It's probably something really basic. I mean I can see the reorder column and move things up and down, but when I make a category eg. Dragonball Z in an anime image board. It is at the bottom (everything gets arranged by date so new comes last, unless I move them arround) and considering there's 100s of anime, to move Dragonball Z up one click and refresh at a time, is lame, until I get to the other "D" anime's (That could be 50 up and refreshes --.-- ) So I'm sure there's some setting I haven't worked out.

Would really appreciate the help.

I couldn't find any other request for help for this same thing, probably because it's that obvious.

lol but anyway. How do you arrange your categories and sub categories in A,B,C.. order. So in the gallery people can easily find what they're looking for.

I was used to using proboards prior and I could just click where I wanted my board and it'd move itself there, or you could pick before this board or after this board etc. So it was easy while creating the boards to have them exactly where you wanted them. Just having the parent board for me it's dumping the new board at the end on creation.

All advice appreciated :)

Support / Can't upgrade to the latest SMF Gallery Pro (Current 3.0.10)
« on: January 21, 2012, 07:35:57 am »
I can't seem to upgrade to the latest version of SMF Gallery Pro.

When I go to Package Manager this is what I have:

 Mod Name Version
1. SMF Gallery Pro Recent Images 1.0   [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
2. SMF Gallery Pro Tabs 1.0  [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
3. SMF 1.1.14 Update 1.0   [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
4. Member Awards 1.1.2   [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
5. Global Headers Footers 2.0   [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
6. SMF Gallery Pro Recent Profile Images 2.0.1   [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
7. SMF Gallery Pro 3.0.11   [ Upgrade ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
8. SMF 1.1.15 Update 1.0   [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
9. Bot Buster 1.1   [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
10. SMF 1.0.20 / 1.1.12 Update 1.0   [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
11. AjaxChat Integration 3.2.1  [ Apply Mod ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
12. SMF Gallery Pro 3.0.10   [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
13. SMF 1.0.21 / 1.1.13 Update 1.0

I can see I have two SMF Gallery Pro's when I click upgrade( Eg. no. 7) it says it can, then the other one. Eg. No. 12 will then suddenly have the Upgrade and No. 7  shall have the unistall there. They just keep switching around.

I'm wondering if that is why I can't upgrade. as they always stay on 3.0.10 and 3.0.11. But if I choose to unistall one shall it delete all the pictures on the site and categories ect?

I figure I have to, so I can actually upgrade properly. Any advice would be very much appreciated, I don't want to accidentally deleted all my members images.

Support / Database error? Affecting Gallery Pro table.
« on: December 28, 2010, 12:08:09 pm »
Hi recently I paid for the Gallery Pro edition for my website. On installation everything was fine, no errors. Adding pictures, categories everything remains fine. Then today for some reason a database error showed up. Saying this:

Invalid use of group function
File: /home/animeins/public_html/Sources/Gallery.php
Line: 9507

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.12, while your database is at version 1.1.11. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

I tried to repair the database with Cpanel that didn't work and when I tried to upload the SMF 1.1.12 upgrade (as advised in the error) But it says error this file is either invalid or corrupted.

At current I have the SMF 1.1.12 version I don't understand why it says it's 1.1.11 nor why suddenly there is an error in the first place. It actually stops all the categories/boards showing up when you go into the gallery. Newest image, most recent commented etc is still there and you 'can' still get to the boards in the go around(just not from the main gallery menu)and there's just an ugly error and confusion  for my members.

Here's the source for /home/animeins/public_html/Sources/Gallery.php

Would really really appreciate someone having a look at this for me.

Thanks again!

Gold :D
