Feature Requests / user images in own folders« on: November 06, 2007, 02:50:42 pm »
Hi. Is it possible to have each a new folder automatically made for each new member, so that their images are stored in a subfolder of the main "gallery" folder as seen via FTP? At the mement all images and thumbnalis are stored in the one folder, but this will become an administrative nightmare once my users start to upload the 5000 or so images they have.

Hi Johan. I can't answer that accurately. But based on the fact that SMF Gallery Pro works perfectly with Tinyportal, I can sse no reason that the SMF Shop would be any different.

Hi Willsy. Somewhere else on the forum there was a post that seemed to indicate that the Shop module would be a similar price to SMF Gallery Pro.
Hope this helps. Will 9
Support / Re: Albums for uploaded images« on: April 22, 2007, 07:33:43 am »
Definitely, if possible. There will be about 100 users. I am currently using Gallery 2 and there are probably about 200 folders, as G2 makes a new folder for each album.

Support / Albums for uploaded images« on: April 22, 2007, 05:38:07 am »
Hi all. When I upload as Admin, all my photos go into the one directory on the server; the "gallery" folder. However, when my users upload, their photos go into the same directory. Am I doing something wrong by not having a setting correct? I really need to have each users' photos go into their own album, if at all possible, as there are about 5000 images, and it'd be a nightmare to have them all in the one directory...!

Feature Requests / Total galleries listed in summary« on: March 22, 2007, 05:34:42 pm »
Hi, would it be possible to add the number of subcategories in a category on the gallery summary page, something like "Total Images/Categories"?
Thanks 13

*edit* I took a guess and modified the sources/managepermissions.php file, removing the second list of SMFGallery info, and this has fixed the problem. Many thanks */edit* 14

Ok. Assuming that I should be in:
Admin - Members - Permissions - Regular Members - SMF Gallery I see the following permissions: View, add, edit, delete, leave, report pictures, auto approve, admin. I don't see any Personal Gallery permission. Could there be somewhere else that I should be looking? Thanks for the help. 15
Support / can users create their own galleries? (SOLVED)« on: March 19, 2007, 02:40:38 am »
Hi. If I have a user on my forum, are they able to create their own gallery, and then upload their images into it? Or do I have to create the gallery for the user?
Thanks
