Made the changes. Still getting that message.
I guess I could rename SSI.php and call the renamed file from Joomla and your new one from SMF. 3

Just found out server isn't letting me save changes to that file! Grrr!

I inserted that in classifiedsipn2.php after the SSI.php require but still get "no database connection" in a browser.

Hmm, that generated a load of database errors in the Joomla installation (I had reactivated the SSI.php call).

I'm still getting the "no database selected" message.

I'm not messing with SSI.php in that I have not altered that file in any way. It was initialised as an include in the Joomla template. That is now commented out of the Joomla template. Still struggling to see how that effects the classifieds IPN script?

I'm in the process of migrating to Drupal. I am not using SSI.php so presumably could cease calling it from Joomla and those errors would disappear?
So, none of those entries point to why I'm getting errors in the operation of the Classified module? 11

I don't have any bridge. I am calling SSI.php in that Joomla install.

I just tried to uninstall Classifieds to upgrade to the latest version (I'm on 4.0) in the hope that might solve the PHP issue but I get uninstall errors on every file except for: /Themes/default/languages/Who.english.phpTest successful
./index.phpTest successful ./Themes/default/BoardIndex.template.php Edit: Just upgraded, rather than uninstall/install. All worked fine. Not sure if it has solved my PHP version issue though? 14

My sysop has reported back that the problem is that the mod is incompatible with the latest version of php, 5.4.
Very difficult to pinpoint the exact entries, but attached is everything with 'classifieds' in it. Most relevant lines include something like "PHP Strict Standards: Non-static method [..] should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in [..]" 15

Hmm, because it currently has no Execute permissions. I don't have access to the logs but I've asked my sysop to check them.
