It seems I'm still having this issue after the update.

(Description not carried over to the release thread.)

2
Thank you! I thought it would be at the end of that when I saw the date on the thread.

3
Call me dense, but I can't find it. I looked in downloads, and in the forum. I searched "4.1" but all it came up with is this thread.

4
Any idea on when 4.1 would be out?

So just IE 11?

That's what I was told by the member. I use Firefox and have no issues., But I don't ever remember seeing a progress bar. Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get a message.

I was hoping this would be in the latest version, but if I could get a modified file, or do it myself I'd be ok with that. :)

When you upload a file you put in an image and a description. This is not being carried over to the release thread, it just shows the preview picture (medium thank you :)) which takes you to the download.

Is this a simple fix I can do on my own?

(Happy Thanksgiving all!)

Progress bar is disabled. Even after this I got this message.

Ok the upload issue has something to do with Internet Explorer 11. I took a shot that it was the problem and not your website and uploaded Top Score desktop with Firefox. So looks like you will get my recent releases now.

For whatever it's worth.

My other member with this problem is in the midst of a move, so it'll be a while before he can test this. I use FF myself and am haven't yet had the issue.

I'm getting this error with other members as well now. I haven't upgraded to 4.0 a/b, I just have 4.0

Should I be installing the upgrades over the old ones or uninstalling each one and starting over?

I have a member who is not able to upload a file. The file is under the limit, and all permissions are correct, I have reviewed them. He gets this error every time he tries under multiple browsers. Uploads that I do as an Admin work correctly. What causes this error?

From this member:
I tried uploading Spitfire and here's what I enter.  When I press "Add Download" I get the error message "Unable to find server informations".   What am I doing wrong?

Here's what I want to do. If I'm directed to the correct place I think I can pull it off myself.

1. When something is uploaded it starts a release thread. It shows the thumbnail pic as the default. I want it to display the medium as the default. I'm guessing it's just changing thumb to medium (as I've been doing), but where do I go to make it default?

2. When editing files in downloads it always returns me to "my files" as the default. This is a pita. So how do I make it return me to the category I was just in? Editing multiple files in the same category is very tedious this way. Again, I'm guessing I just change a single thing like "my files" to "previous category", or whatever it is.

When I say where, I mean specifically what file and how far down (roughly). Am I better off replacing the file or editing it through the package manager? Wait, I can just do it through the ftp. ;D

I think that's what it may have been- they were too big and were skipped.

Thanks again. ;D

Show title and description are already checked.

There are no subcategories. A-D is it's own. I did the bulk upload from that folder to confirm the problem. It just seems to lose a couple during bulk upload. I'll add them manually.

Edit: Unchecked and rechecked (again) and it works now.

Thanks

I just installed Gallery pro (latest version).

1st Problem: (Gallery.jpg)
My names are NOT showing up unless I click the picture. This is exactly why I got the Pro version, I was of the understanding it would show the filename (in this case the person). If I click on the individual person - it'll show the name. But I have NO idea who I'm clicking on. A lot of these pictures (titles) are not forum members.

Is there a setting I missed? I'm not really skilled enough to hack any files.

2nd Problem:
Number of files in a category incorrect. (Gallery2.jpg)
Note A-D. There are 54 files in that folder, and it shows 46 on the site. (?) FTP confirms there are 54 files in that folder. I even made a subfolder(s) in the Gallery/imports/A-D/ to isolate it even further, and make sure there were none from a wrong category.

Subfolders are Gallery/Import/
A-D
E-H
I-L
M-P
Q-T
U-W
X-Z

Yeah, I know, unnecessary. I even tried uninstalling/reinstalling by the way.

So now what?

Ok, NOW I figured it out. It's sorting by latest file, not names. That's why the names are all over the place. Any way to fix this?

Also it returns to latest downloads after editing or downloading. Can we make it to where it returns from the category you were at previously?

I got it, thanks. It was Max allowed images per download   :0 because I wanted it to show all of them on the same page. There is a bug where if I have 2 pages of a category, when viewing the second page it's something like most downloaded or something else. Doesn't seem to be page 2. So I have all downloads for a category on the same page so it never goes to page 2.

Edit: this may not be completely right. I need more time to check it out. But I got the images working thanks.
