Does the system handle displaying various sized images depending on the screen size? For example, if it is on a wide web browser then it should display a large wide banner, but if it is a mobile device it will switch to displaying a smaller banner. If not, is there a recommended way to configure this in the system?

Is there any plans to update the templates for the newest 2.1 theme? The 2.0 templates do not look that great in 2.1.

Ok. I dumped all the data and used the Gallery through the browser and everything worked fine. I'll figure out what my converter script is doing wrong. But I may ask for some advice Thanks!

I just confirmed that the data is as you describe with one additional detail. As we chatted previously (prior to purchasing) We still needed to have one "Main" catgeory above the user ones. So I did add 1 record to gallery_cat with id of 1 and all gallery_usercat records have 1 in the field id_cat. But, would that cause issues with a newly created usercat and new images?

It did not resolve my issue. I should point out that I did write a converter to pull data in from another custom system. It imported records into tables gallery_usercat, gallery_pic, and gallery_comment. I did not change any code though, just data imports into those 3 tables.

It seems I currently have 6.0. Should I uninstall it before installing 6.0.5? Kind of new to SMF, is that considered best practice for most packages?

So I created a Gallery called "My Pics". Is this not a category? Now I try to upload a picture and select "My Pics" for the category in the drop down. I don't fill out any other fields. Click upload. And get a message stating "You need to create a category first before you upload a picture." What am I missing?

Shot in the dark here, but it seems some backslashes are escaped and others are not. To be consistent I would think that this:
document.write("<script type='text\/javascript' src='"+(location.protocol == 'https:' ? 'https:' : 'http:') + "//www.adshost2.com\/js/show_ads.js'><\/script>");
Should be this:
document.write("<script type='text\/javascript' src='"+(location.protocol == 'https:' ? 'https:' : 'http:') + "\/\/www.adshost2.com\/js\/show_ads.js'><\/script>");

Thanks. An admin demo might be helpful.
But, here's the scenario i'm dealing with. I need a system where advertisers can log into the site and go somewhere that they can see a list of their banner ads (only their own.) Then they can drill down into each ad and see their number of impressions and clicks over a selectable period of time - such as this month, last month, etc... It would break it down by day preferably.
I also need a way of applying weights to ad campaigns. So as an example, one add might get 50% of the rotations and 2 others might only get 25% each.
Added an attachment of another system we use on a different platform. This shows the drill down in the stats for a specific banner.

Does this system allow for access to reports for advertisers to track their impressions and click-throughs, and locked down using permissions?
Also, does it store info about the Advertiser like address, phone #, point of contact?

Ok. Thanks! Not really a big deal, but thanks for the pointer. I'll take a look.

Thanks. Got it!
So if I really don't want to have categories - just separate user galleries, is there a way to bypass having to select "User Galleries" in order to get to all the user galleries?

So I have a new install done. It comes with a Category called "User Galleries." But, no one can seem to see it besides the admin. There is no way to manage the permissions for this category. If I create another new category I can then manage permissions but I really would just rather use the main "User Galleries." In fact I'd rather not even have categories at all. But If I must then I just want one main one where users can all create their own. How do I manage permissions for the main one?
Additional info: I have the latest SMF 2.0.8 and the latest Gallery Pro. No mods installed yet besides Gallery Pro.
Also, when I log in as a regular user I don't even see the Gallery link. I am assuming this is because I can't manage permissions for the "User Galleries" category.

Hello. I just bought the Pro license and applied it to my licenses. It doesn't seem like I have access to the downloads but maybe that takes time. In any case, do you have any sample converters. I have a very custom system coming from .Net and will be writing a lot of conversion code. If you have something to start with that would be great.
Thanks, -Paul
