Feature Requests / Re: 2.5
« on: July 24, 2009, 03:38:44 am »

Added feature to 2.5.1 of the gallery to not show galleries for members that do not pictures in their user gallery

Downloaded, installed and working smoothly.

I'm getting a bit of an error with the user galleries;  'Admin' is listed and showing an image count of 20, but this gallery does not exist.
I've uploaded hundreds of images as Admin, but none to a personal user gallery. I tried checking the 'Private Gallery' box in the settings , but it's still visible to all in the User Gallery List.
The total number of user images given reflects the actual total for the member galleries, but if you include the 'phantom images' in the Admin gallery, the total is wrong.

Is there any way of disabling it, or is there a fix I can do to push it back to the previous display setting?
I've set Guest permissions allowing them to see the gallery, but not to view the member lists for security reasons. With the new version, anyone can access the member list via the gallery.

It might be a useful feature for boards with a dozen members where they've all started up galleries, but for my kind of thing, its a real turn-off.
I really wouldn't want to have to ditch the gallery because of this feature. It's been a worthy addition  to my site up until now and I'd hate to have to shut it down.

Feature Requests / 2.5

I've just installed 2.5. Nice,easy installation.

However, there is something that needs adrressing ASAP. With the new version, if you go to 'Member Galleries' you get a list of ALL members. Not all members will have or want to build a gallery, so why are they listed? I've got 4000 members - six of them have galleries! So, with the new version, the gallery is displaying 3994 members without galleries, and in there somewhere is the 6 with galleries! Not good.

It needs something along the lines of " IF image count = 0, do not display member name".

Please fix now!

Is it possible to only autodelete listings, but keep auctions that have ended? At the moment, both listings and auctions get deleted, but I would like people to be able to view final winning bids, compare old auctions with new auctions,  and stuff like that.

Also, is it possible to automatically accept bids, without having to review the bid and hit 'accept'?

Support / Button strip in Versatility theme/IE7
« on: February 06, 2009, 11:56:14 am »
Im using the RT Versatility theme and everything looks great in Firefox and Chrome. However in Internet Explorer, the right-justified strip of buttons end up stacked instead of all on one line to the right of the template. Can anyone tell me why this is and how I could go about rectifying it? A member of my forum reckons it needs to have some

Code: [Select]
<td> and </td> tags placed in the HTML, but I haven't been able to find the appropriate lines for the buttons.

Here is a screenshot of what the template looks like in IE7 on an attachment.

Many thanks,

Neil

Success! Good job!

I'd be interested to know how you fixed this too:

I get that issue in my theme and have never been able to figure it out!

Many thanks!

Yes, but I'm trying to edit the gallery via the Admin login, which should work regardless.

hmm. Are you uploading to a normal gallery or a personal gallery?

What are the full titles of each gallery category that should be in the list.

I'm trying to edit entries in a personal gallery contained the default Member Galleries category.

Appears either the page is not loading completely. Can you post a screenshot?
Also check your forum's error log for any related errors.

Here you go.

There are 5 categories, but none appear in the category selection box.
I don't appear to have any error messages, but i think I've got message reporting switched off.

Bugs / Bulk upload

When I uploaded some images to my Gallery by the bulk upload function, I lost the ability to edit the captions and descriptions afterwards. Images uploaded singly can be edited after uploading, but not when bulk upload option is used.
A 'category' drop-down box appears when editing, but with blank options. Click on 'save changes' after changing the caption and title, and an error message says 'no category selected'.

I'm using v.1.4.3 in SMF 1.1.6...
