Found it, under the sub menu of the button. Doh.
Other error message still there, so confirmed it wasn't the Gallery. But we're up to date.
Thanks.

Thanks, have bought the update and installed 8.0.8 however, whilst the Gallery button appears, there is no config in the Admin area. Cleared site cache and browser cache, logged out and back in but still no config. Should it be where it was before or has it moved?

In an effort to find the reason for another error message, I have been removing and reinstalling packages. Remove, clear cache, check for error, if Present that package is the problem, if not reinstall.
I got to Gallery Pro, version 5.0.3b. Installer showed no issues so I went ahead and I got the following error at the end, and the Gallery has not been reinstalled.
Call to undefined function mysql_query()
MySQL Strict mode is disabled on the VPS.
As the program has been working just fine for many years, I'm reluctant to have to buy the latest version just to overcome this problem but I need to put the gallery back up as members are missing it already.
Any help appreciated Chas.

Thanks for that file, the original error has stopped to be replaced by this one:
https://www.fiftyplusforum.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=galleryApply 8: Undefined index: moderate_ctrApply /home/fiftyplu/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs.php Line: 4188 I guess an uninstall and reinstall of the Gallery might help?
Chas
BTW, fully updated to 20.0.17
edit, happening on every page. Probably some other mod interfering now, not Gallery.

Hi there,
https://www.fiftyplusforum.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=4378
8: Use of undefined constant php - assumed 'php'
File: home/fiftyplu/public_html/forum/Themes/default/languages/Gallery.english_british.php Suddenly started getting the above in the error log, though the Gallery (ver 5.0.3 (package file says 5.0.3c)) is working OK.
Checked the language files Gallery.english.php is dated 2006 - 2013 and is version 5 but the Gallery.english_british.php is dated 2006 - 2012 and is version 4.
Can't recall how I got the British version but it's not part of the installer.
Can I regenerate it or download it from somewhere? There are differences between the two versions which may be the reason for the error?
Thanks Chas

Thanks for the quick reply,
I regret not having enough knowledge here.
I've looked in the root of the website for these config files but they are not there and there are no options on the site cPanel for MYSQL settings.
There is a user.ini file in the root of the forum, can I add the edit there?
When you say restart mysql, do you mean reboot the server?
Thanks Chas

All of a sudden we are getting the following error message when trying to view our Gallery.
"Expression #14 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'fiftyplu_FPF001.c.view' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by File: /home/fiftyplu/public_html/forum/Themes/default/Gallery2.template.php Line: 4440
Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.15, whilst your database is at version 2.0.1. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php."
Now the site files report that everything is up to date, so I'm loathe to run the latest upgrade.php as this will remove all the mods, which I don't really want to do.
Is there some other way round this issue? Chas

I too use Simpleportal and the GDPR mod(Pro) seems to be working as expected. I am using "Frontpage" mode rather than "Standalone".
Thanks for that, I need to upgrade Simple Portal to the latest version.

Hi
I installed the latest 2.0.1 version. I cant see where the +Added reminder on deleting account for users to download their data for SMF 2.0.x change takes effect.
The text is in the language file but does not appear on the delete acount page for me.
Doug
This topic is for the free HELPER version, I think you need to repost in the PRO version topic here: https://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,9589.0.html

Hi, I am using the GDPR Helper for now and my forum uses SimplePortal which provides a Home page so the forum itself is not the first page seen when you visit the site. However, for all members who have agreed the the agreement they can go straight into the forum but if they click the HOME page to take them to the SimplePortal home page, they are shown the Agrreement again and have to click I agree again to see the home page. Guests do not see it. The forum is at https://www.fiftyplusforum.co.uk and I can supply a login if you want to see the issue. I know you can't make the mod 100% compatible with all other mods but I would guess I'm not the only one using SimplePortal this way so it may affect others. Would the Pro version solve this issue without fixing the helper version? Thanks Chas BTW, this text box (REPLY not Quick reply) seems to be 180 characters wide, it scrolls sideways when typing long lines. Using Chrome on W10. Have to scroll sideways to click POST/PREVIEW.
