In the main menu? Or on the submenu on the main classifieds index?
In the main menu.... Here's the problem I have the system automatically create a post in a forum category, users often go to the forum post then try to find where to list their own classified/auction Of course they can't from there and even if they do figure out that they need to click on the "Classifieds" button at the top (main menu) they still don't figure that they need to click on one of the categories before they can see the "add listing" or "add auction" buttons I thought perhaps a simple "Add Classified" in the main menu of the forum and then questions from there to guide them would be better, i.e. "Add Classified" > Auction or Classified > Select Category (from drop down list) Maybe instead of the "Auction or Classified" selection you could have a radio check box inside the add listing form based on whether their choice of category supported both or not So it could be "Add Classified" > Select Category (from drop down) then a radio check button for Classified/Auction (dependant on what type/s are available for the selected catgory)

Is it possible that the method of adding a listing will be simplified I've found the end users at my site can be pretty daft and as a result they just don't use the system
I'd suggest as well as the "Classifieds" button at the top, perhaps an "Add Listing" button which then leads to each step in turn, i.e.
Add Listing > Classified or Auction > Select category (from a drop down list)
Most people cannot see that they have to go into a category BEFORE they can see the add listing/add auction buttons, I'm certain that showing those buttons first and then selecting a category after would result in much more use of the system

Ah OK Maybe no parsing of bb code and a shortened description or even just the item title
Having said that, I have no idea how to get the code to use the rss on another website ?

What needs to be fixed?
Sorry I assumed the RSS feed was just going to display a shortened description and thumbnails, like it does in the ezportal block ? That way other websites could display the feed in a block instead of taking up a whole page

Many thanks That sorted it (I think)
I had tried uninstalling ezportal (damned glad I backed up the files as it crashed the whole system and I had to restore the files so that I could re-install ezportal)
Any idea how two Setup ezportal could have got in there ?
Thanks again
Terry

Upgraded to 1.3.6.1 today and just noticed that there's some very strange formating going on with ezportal blocks See here www.vdsr.co.ukand here: http://www.vdsr.co.uk/index.php?action=forumAlso checked to make sure by attempting to uninstall Classifieds and it doesn't show in Installed Packages and in Packages it gives a link to install Classifieds is showing as the correct (new) version and seems to be functioning On the home page it has embeded a complet copy of the home page and on the forum pages it has duplicated several of the ezblocks Any ideas on how to deal with this ? Thanks

I thought I'd test the RSS feed button icons next to the categories but it doesn't seem to work all the time See here: http://www.vdsr.co.uk/index.php?action=classifiedsI'm using 2.0 RC3 and Classifieds version 1.3.6.1 It's rather odd that if you click on the rss feed icon for the "non motorcycle" category it displays just one item, none of the other categories display anything
