Yes, we have a certain membergroup that we want to offer products to only, and it's unfortunately set as a secondary membergroup.
The secondary group is our "Official Members" and we have to place it secondary so that it works with our ranking system and the stars shown for each group.
When I last tried to set it up, I gave only "Official Members" access to the category but when I tested with a test account it only worked if "Official Members" was the primary membergroup. Unfortunately, the way I have things set up, I cannot move "Official Members" to be a primary group or it won't work with our system setup.
Our membergroup system is pretty complex because we use it for not only forum membergrouping, but for the actual organization itself.

Currently the category permissions only look at the primary membergroups. Would there be an option to have it check both primary AND secondary for a specific membergroup to allow access? We have one membergroup that is always set as a secondary and want to be able to have a specific category for that group only.
Currently, we are just using membergroup pricing and setting the "public" price at $9999.99 and the membergroup price at the actual item price. That has been working for a year but I still get questions as to why the "item is so expensive" from non-members of that group.

After copying the new file, I'm now getting the following error: 8: Undefined index: selectvalue File: /home/firespr/public_html/mercs/forum/Sources/Store.php Line: 8121 When I try to modify the quantity of one of the values of the selection.

Well, it's not letting me update the stock of that item. I just get a white page with that error and no option to move on. When I go back, the quantity hasn't been updated.

I'm running version 1.4.2, when I go to update the stock on an item I'm getting an error. The item is a shirt, I had entered the sizes into the "extra optional custom fields" and it has been working for some time. For some reason though, I went to update one of the sizes to show 1 extra piece of stock and I get the following error: 8: Undefined index: import File: /home/firespr/public_html/mercs/forum/Sources/Store.php Line: 8112 I'm not sure what's causing it...never had it happen before. Any ideas?

Just checking in. If this isn't a store issue, let me know. I can repost it over on the SMF community. Just figured since the error originated in the Store.php file it might be something wrong there.

Running 1.1.14 SMF, updated to latest store software, but I was having this issue with the previous version as well. Something happened on our forums recently and things have been going haywire.
Anyways, I get the following message when I go to mark an item shipped in the store:
2: mysql_fetch_assoc(): 43 is not a valid MySQL result resource File: /home/firespr/public_html/mercs/forum/Sources/Store.php Line: 4564
Let me know what you need from me to try and solve this.

Ah, I see even with the shopping cart turned off...what is happening is it's counting the order when you click the button and leaving the paypal transaction page without paying. While a new order doesn't show up in the "ready to ship" area...it's showing as sold in the product list.
Looks like it just needs to base it's count off of completed transactions instead of "buy now" button clicks.
Thanks again for helping to make this SMF Store mod awesome!

We don't currently have the "shopping cart" feature turned on. Would that still cause the issue?

Ok, this one isn't a major one...but more or less just an information mixup of some kind.
I obviously use the "items waiting to be shipped" feature to monitor my orders. But I noticed the other day that in the "product list" tab, one of my items says it has had 11 sales. When I go to the waiting to be shipped page I can only count 8. I also double checked paypal to make sure an order didn't drop off...and sure enough only 8 sales there.
Any idea what could be causing that?

I know the feeling. Like I said...we have about 30 different membergroups and I've had to fiddle with them to make sure only certain people have access to certain areas of the forum.

I'll let you know. I'll probably run the update later this week. Just opened a new item today so the store is getting a few hits. Don't want to interrupt anyone in the middle of an order.

If this is too complicated, please don't worry about it. I do have an alternate solution by using the membergroup prices feature. I just make an item highly expensive ($9999.99) and then offer a sale to just the official group. It's been working out currently that way for a few months.
