Hi, yes. I created a free store test product for the test so don’t need to use Paypal for the tests. Other than being free, it’s a regular item just like any other from the store.
What’s interesting is I am receiving the emails for the customer side, including an Admin email copy of the customer’s email to the Admin. It’s just the Admin purchase notification email for that isn’t working. Very odd.
Thank you for your time. It’s very much appreciated.

Hello,
Before installing the upgrade, I confirmed the email template in the customize email section of the store admin area are the same as they were before. They are. I then ran a test before the upgrare and the only email received was the one sent to the customer's email informaing them their purchases had been receive.
I then installed the upgrade. I did not activate the "Notify all store admins of item purchase" and ran another test purchase. Still no Admin email sent other than the purchase email to the customer.
Lastly, I activated the "Notify all store admins of item purchase" and ran a final test purchase. Still no Admin email sent other than the purchase email to the customer.
SORRY! I'm running SMF 2.1.3 now. Previously 2.1.2. Any chance it could be related to the upgrade from SMF 2.0.19? It was about the time I upgraded that it stopped working. Does it work for you on 2.1.2+?
Thank you and I'm sorry this is taking your valuable time.
Mike

Sorry, it looks like we were both replying at the same time when I posted that last message. To answer your questions above, What is in the subject of the email you want to receive? We worked on this feature together a while back. It was discussed in this thread on your site and was working great before something changed, likely when I upgraded to SMF 2.1: https://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,9215.0.htmlThe "Receive Copy of Sales Email" only goes to one person currently the store contact email address. I think it should go to All Store Admins just like the other emails do. Maybe the email functions could be combined in to one? Essentially, you could eliminate the contact email field and email all Store Admins every message when the various email options to receive certain emails are checked. It would be great if we could at least restore it to how it worked before as listed in the above thread. THANKS!

Just throwing this out there. I added this feature request to the list I made earlier in the other topic area. I thought it might interest you since it's loosely related to what this discussion is about.
Feature Request: Change the setting 'Contact Email' function to say 'Admin Receive Store Emails'. When doing so, eliminate the email option field and just make it a check box that when checked, it will send Store Admin emails to any member with Store Admin permissions on the forum. The option notes could be worded something like this:
"Used to email notify members with 'Store Admin' permissions of low stock items and codes, sales notifications and other important Store messages".
On my forum, I created a Store Admin sub group and placed the members I wanted to have 'Store Admin' permission into that sub group. Works great and this change would make it cleaner and more integrated into existing Store Admin functions rather than in having to set the email group in a seperate place.
I you don't like this, then perhaps leave it as it is and just change the setting option wording to read more clearly as something similar to this: "Store Admin Email Address(s), "Used for store notification of low stock items and codes, sales notifications and other important Store related email to Store Admins. May use multiple addresses separated by commas.”
Take care! Mike

I revised the list above and added a "Last Updated" note at the bottom of the list post. I know you're very busy but felt it may be useful if you every have time to work on the Mod.
Have a great weekend, Mike

Also, I just enabled the Store feature "Receive Copy of Sales Email" and the admins now receive those emails. It seems it's just the "Notify all store admins of item purchase" that isn't working.
Take care, Mike

Hi there, thanks for the reply. I checked the mail queue and it's clear. I also sent a test mail message from the Admin area using "Send Test" option and instantly received the test message to my email.
Have a great weekend! Mike

Hello,
Store admins have not been receiving notification of items being purchased in out SMF Store since around the time we updated too SMF 2.1.2. We receive the Paypal notifications and the customers receive their purchase emails, but the Admins listed in the store configuration screen don't. Any chance you have time to look at this?
FYI, I updated my forum to SMF 2.1.3 today and the problem is still there.
Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving from Montana.

FYI, I just saw a new SMF version was just released (2.1.3). The changelog had this fix in it:
Fixed a bug where "Trying to access array offset on value of type null" showed up in the log.
This may resolve the issue but I still don't understand what was causing it.
Take care!

I wanted to follow-up on this post to see if anyone else is seeing this happen.
This morning I reviewed the error logs on my SMF 2.1 forum and see there are dozens of this same error with various non-existent item IDs all from a Guest account using a German IP address of 138.201.36.87. The IP is owned by Hetzner Online GmbH, which is a server hosting company, but it doesn't really help explain why this guest account keeps trying to change the quantity of items on my forum. Because the person doesn't have permission, they obviously get nowhere but it does geneate an error log message.
Below is a screenshot of part of the error log. Does anyone else see this happening and / do you know why this person might be attempting this?
Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Nicole, in Sept 2022, I PM'd SMFHacks to see if he was still interested in the features I proposed and a possible timeframe he might have them available to users. He said he was incredibly busy with little free time and had no ETA on implementing them. Just an FYI.
Happy Sunday, Mike Vail

Well thank you for that. You are correct. Item 18 no longer exists. My guess is that someone clicked an old link and generated the errors.
Thanks again for the help! Michael

Sorry but I don't see product numbers anywhere in the interface. Other than clicking each one and checking for its ID in the URL, is there another way to find it? Adding the Product ID to a column in the product list panel would be a nice addition.
