Ok I don't think I'm the first with this question....

Any file that is uploaded to my gallery if it is bigger than the size restriction I have set and I allow resizeing to accur the file doubles-tripples sometimes quadrouples itself in file size.

A 175kb picture with a frame size of 1280x1024 when uploaded and automatically resized by your program ends up at whatever my frame size settings are but the file winds up being 400kbs.

Help....this is not good for server space!

So will this fix the existing picture already uploaded that have increased file sizes now....or will everything have to be loaded again?

Mine does the exact same thing.  Upload a 100kb picture 1280x1024 with the gallery size restricted to something smaller and the file size once uploaded becomes almost 3 times the original size.
