I set up a "Wanted" category were people can post items they are looking to buy.
When I set up the "Wanted" category I checked the box for "No Price/No Bidding" so when you view the wanted classified the member created it does not show any price or bid button.
That part works great, but if you search my wanted category you get "Current Price" showing up in the search results.

Thanks,

When you add a new listing there are the boxs for, Listing Name:, Keywords:, Description:
I wonder if Listing Name: should be changed to something else. My first couple posters put there name in the Listing Name box, lol..
Not even there user name, but real name!
Would something like "Listing Title" be better?
Just a thought. I never gave it a second thought as to what went in the box when I created a couple listing myselfs, but then a couple others posted, lol..
Not a big deal as I just went and did a edit myself, but wanted to see what you thought about it.
Thanks,

How about a link or button the member can click so they can see just the classifieds they have created.
Could be usefull when you get a lot of classifieds listed and you just want to check your own.
Kind of like a "My eBay" button, kind of..

What should I notice when it is checked?
Thanks,

Not so sure if this is part of SMF Classifieds or if it's part of the SMF trader system, but thought I would ask you first. Notice the link in the screen shot, Send a message to seller. I think for SMF Classifieds it would be much better if it said, Send a message to (username) as not all the SMF Classifieds that people create are going to have to do with selling something. For example my "Wanted" Classifieds. I would also think there are going to end up being many different types of non sale type of classifieds members will come up with. The "Send a message to seller" only seems to fit in with classifieds that have something for sale. If this does not have anything to do with you SMF Classifieds maybe you could be so kind as to let us know how and were to change it ourself. Thanks,

Edit Category>Upgrades and you go to delete a upgrade that you had listed and it clears all the fields in the category you are working on.

Hi,
I love being able to ad custome fields.
I notice that you have the option to move them up or down. They do not display in the same position as they do when you create them.
Thanks,

I placed a bid on a item and it was accepted by the seller.
I then get a email with the title, New Personal Message: You bid has been accepted Maytag Washer Timer Part
But in the message of the email it reads,
You have just been sent a personal message by Bob on ApplianceJunk.com - Appliance Repair Forums.
IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email.
The message they sent you was:
Your bid has been rejected of 5.00 for

When I put something up for sale and enter a price for buy it now the listing shows the buy it now price like it's the starting bid.
Say I enter a $10 buy it now price. The listing will show it as $10.00 with a place bid button. You click the button and it acts as if you place a bid of $10.00 and send the seller a PM saying someone bid $10.00

Can I let members list items for sale for free?
What other types of classified other then thing for sale could this be used for?
I would like to let members of my forums post items for sale for free and I would also like to have a "wanted" section of the classified were member could post things they are looking to buy.
Could that be done with the Classified mod?
