On the default theme at the bottom of a thread there is a link to add tags and other tags can be deleted by clicking the red x.

It gets a little tricky if you can't unistall via emulate_version.
You will need to edit package-info.xml in GalleryLite1.6.6.zip and find unistallfor and add the version of your forum in the list as well to unistall it.

From lite 1.6.6 to the latest lite version no smf file edits changed.
Only the some gallery files updated so instead you can extact the gallery files to their proper locaitons.

Rebel Rose's themes might have the gallery button support some fo them do some don't. Check your permissions first for each user group in the forum's admin first though.

Admin -> Permissions -> Click on each membergroup and give them permission to view the gallery and any other permissions you want them to have.

Copy the text strings from smfgallery.xml where it is modifying modificaitons.english.php and copy them to your modificaitons.english.php file.
