I've just noticed another potential bug....
If you have Downloads Pro setup to post a message when a new upload is made, it should update the SMF stats, but....
I imported three files using FTP, Downloads Pro generated three messages correctly, but looking at the stats, only ONE message has been added to the daily posts - The only reason I noticed at all is because it's been a very quite day on my forum, otherwise I would never have spotted it!

Just upgraded everything to the latest versions, and now every file area I have is displayed twice - Even though they are only listed once in the database.... I also use membergroups to limit access - those with less than 3 posts are "newbie" and they should only be able to view files, NOT download - That worked fine with my previous version of Downloads Pro, but with 2.0 they can now download, which shouldn't be allowed! www.paddleducks.co.ukAny help would be appreciated... A very minor thing SMFHacks, but in Downloads Pro, Configuration, Settings, it has the following text:
The above PHP settings control how large a file will be accepeted. These are settings are controlled by the php.ini or your webhost
Obviously, "accepeted" should be spelt as "accepted".

I seem to have a problem with membergroups, normal groups are working fine, but post count groups seem to be ignored - Is there an issue with this, or have I got something wrong somewhere?

As you know SMFHacks, I was using the Classifieds for a short while (thanks!), and now I've deleted it from my website....
I've removed the smf_class entries in my database, and found more stuff in smf_settings, but EzPortal still insists on showing "My Listings" in the UserBox - So obviously it's picking up on something I've missed in the database! So what else is there that I need to remove?

Regular users are limited to 10 downloads in a day, Downloads Pro is counting files incorrectly, and preventing users from getting 10 files - After LOTS of searching, the reason appears to be caused by users who have download managers to speed up file transfers..... I quote from one of my users: Hi Eddy,
I may have figured out the miscount problem. My download manager (Internet Download Manager http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/) uses file segmentation and multipart downloading to speed downloads. Apparently your software counts each segment as a separate attempt to get a file from Paddleducks. Even though the IDM strategy fails with your server, the attempt is still counted against my 10/day limit. I'll try to figure out a way to disable IDM when I download from Paddleducks.
Can anything be done to help prevent this behaviour in Downloads Pro? Regards Eddy

A lot of my users are double clicking on the download button, or pressing their mouse slightly too long, so Downloads Pro records more that one download of the same file....
Would it be possible to add a time delay so that if the downloads button is pressed more than once within say 5 seconds it's ignored?

I've noticed that I have many duplicate usernames in the Member Galleries listing, some members are listed 3 or 4 times - Is this a bug?
On a similar subject, does it have to list every member, even those that haven't uploaded any images? I have hundreds of users listed with 0 images, which seems silly...

it would be nice to be able to edit some of the error messages - Especially with SMF 2.0 RC2's new subscription system....
For example, Instead of just saying "That would exceed your 5 downloads per day" (or whatever the exact message is?), I'd like to modify it so that I can add "Subscribing, by clicking on 'subscriptions' will allow you to download more files per day", or something like that....
So would it be possible to allow editing of the various error messages within the Admin section? I'm sure it would be a great addition!

In Gallery Pro 2.5.6, used with SMF 2.0 RC2, there is a problem with the images displaying....
All the thumbnails show fine, but if I click on an image to view it full size no image is displayed - it goes to the display page but the image isn't shown, just the filename etc.
However, if I select slideshow, all of the images display perfectly....
Is there a solution for this?

Using Downloads Pro we can easily see whose uploaded files from the Admin panel, but there's no way to see how many files a user has downloaded - I don't mean to list each file, just a total number of files and the total Kb (or Mb)..... it would help enormously to see who is doing what. At the moment the only option is to trawl through all the logs and add it up manually.
Could this be added please?

For some time I've been looking for a "Bookmark" mod, so that members can bookmark a specific message and return to it at a later date easily...... So far all I've found are a couple of outdated mods that will bookmark a topic. But as I said, I want to be able to bookmark a specific message, not an entire topic.....
Does anyone know of a mod that will do this? Or does someone fancy coding it?

Would it be possible to add some header text that could be displayed on each page? By that I mean some user defined text, not hardcoded into the program.....
That could then be used to explain how to get credits, or subscribe for free access, or why the user can only download x number of files per day etc etc..... Basically whatever the Admin would like to display.
Of course if the Admin didn't enter any text then this section would be ignored and wouldn't display an empty header....
I hope that makes sense?

I've asked for this once before, but nothing happened  I'd like ALL new users to be given a default amount of credit when their account is authorised, but there isn't any way to do this at the moment, other than manually editing their account... I give all new accounts 50 credits to get them started, so could this be added to Downloads Pro please? Regards Eddy
