Hi all, I have been running a forum powered by SMF since 2009 and have the Gallery and Adseller pro mods.... I also run various other Joomla powered websites and I just wanted to say that in no forum or addon help area have I ever founds such a great service as I have here at SMFHacks.com Where else can you upload files you can't fix and within a few hours (sometimes minutes) you get the file sent back fixed and prepared for whatever you want to use it for? The prices of the mods are very low for what they are and the support service is 100 percent. I just wanted to say a public thankyou. keep up the good work.  Best regards Clive

Sorry.... not showing on forum main page.... I had 4 latest images showing on the forum home page at the bottom footer underneath statistics etc.... I can't remember if you coded that for me specially some years ago or if it was part of the gallery configuration....

The upgrade went fine
I am using the default theme on 1.1.19 and have the checkbox ticked for Show the most recent images on the main page... But now recent images are showing... Is there another new setting somewhere for this?

If i uninstall the old version will i not lose all my settings? I presume the images will remain in their members directories though?
What is the reason to uninstall the older version first?

Hi there,
i have renewed my gallery pro as I am running the 4.0beta1 version...
Is it just a question of using the package installer for this upgrade or is there anything I need to do first? i am running smf 1.1.19

Thanks for the help...
I am thinking of switching to the babylon theme.... Do I need to make any code changes to get the ads to work? Right now i am on the default theme... When I use babylon the ads don't appear

Thanks for the quick response..... I spoke to my hosts before i remembered about this issue.... Nothing was changed on the server but all of a sudden the error stopped happening....
Now I can save changes without the error... have no idea why....

Doh!
I'm sorry... Code goes in the custom code after selecting that type of ad......
However, after i create an ad with the adsense code ect i get a permission error when i hit save
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I get this error whenever i try to save anything from the admin area of SMF.... Even if i edit css or templates..

Hi all,
Been a while since I posted here.... I'm working on a new forum project and would like to use ad seller pro to display google ads.... After reading the instructions here i'm still not sure how to do this...
First I'd like to have ads display under the menu like here at smf hacks.... I have enabled this banner area but when i go to create a new ad for this position i dont know where to paste in the code from my adsense account...
Any help much appreciated

Hi,
Could i just clarify that all I need to to is upload the SSI with the package manager and install it...? Are there any code additions needed to the template files.. If so which files and what code needs to be added?
I am using a custom template...

I have the box ticked in gallery config to show latest but I believe I have to copy some code as I am using the Classic YaBB SE Theme Sorry, I meant to say the box is ticked to make latest images work on the gallery index page but I would like it to display on the forum home page at the bottom Thanks

Hi all,
Could someone tell me how to add the latest image uploaded to my forum index page? I have tried a search but can't find anything for the versions I am running...
I am using 2.0 RC1 of SMF and 2.0.5 of Gallery Pro
