Parent and Child Galleries

I have some parent and child galleries.

Is there a setting that enables the total image count of the child galleries to appear against the parent?

See attached.  It appears "Rikgale" has no images whereas there are over 5,000 in his child galleries.

Yes it is "Counts child categories picture totals"

Great.  I'd tried that but it didn't seem to work.  Tried again and all is good.
