Download image in topic

Is there a way for the download image to automatically appear in the download created topic instead of the link?

So is this doable cause every time I edit a download it changes my download image in the topic back to the link?

It should be doing this already. Either the thumbnail image. Or if the medium images are enabled the medium image.

No I'm talking about the download button, that's what I should've said...Sorry about that!
I want the download button to be included on the downloads topic/post instead of the actual download link!
