RSS Feed Poster only works when run manually

Hi, I'm trying to get RSS Feed Poster to periodically check a feed and post new feed entries to a my forum. It works when I run the task from the "Feed Poster Configuration" screen. However, it never seems to work automatically. To narrow the problem down, I tried running the "Update RSS Feed Poster bots" manually ("Run now") from SMF's "Scheduled Task" screen. This gives no error message, but also does not have any effect – no post is created although there are new items in the feed.

What could be the reason? How would I go about narrowing down the problem further?

Anything in the forum's error log?

It checks the subject and content as long as it is different it should post.

Ah, it seems I was too impatient. Sometimes it seems to take two or three runs until a post is made. Strange but I can live with that. ^^
