Maximize images
« on: December 20, 2023, 08:16:52 pm »
I'm testing SMF GPro and like to know where to change to the maximum size users can upload images.

On a side note, could you point me to the manual.

There are a few settings. Under Gallery Configuration -> Settings
Max allowed image height:
Max allowed image width:
Max image filesize:  - in bytes is probably the one you want to increase for larger picture files.

Thank you. I did try that and still getting the same error before, as well as after the change.

"xyz.jpg Your file is too large. The maximum attachment size allowed is 128 KB. 2.4 MB"

Maybe I should have been more clear. What are the actual (maximum) numbers that I can input into those fields? Here is what I am dealing with. Most fisherman take photos of their catch with their smart phones in the field and will be uploading to the website. As you know, smart phones take hi rez photos, so I need the max input. Now I do know there are limitations, I'd just like to know what they are.

My bad, figured it out. The restriction was in SMF and not the Gallery. It was my understanding SMF Gallery Pro actually overrode (integrated) the attachment (images) in SMF.
