No thumbnails on new uploads

SMF 2.1.4  PHP 8.1.27
Suddenly there are no thumbnails being created with recent uploads.
Clicking on filename opens them.

I have not touched the site since the thumbs worked ok.

Site Error log is empty!

I have discovered pics uploaded by regular Members work correctly & show thumbnails (we have just tested)
Uploads by Global Moderator & Senior Members do not show thumbnails.

Any ideas where to look?

That's odd if the error happens based on membergroup
What types of files? Does it work with jpeg, pngs, gifs?

What's the gallery version at?

The last three pics posted by M7DVQ are Animated GIF, PNG & JPG. First two are fine but the third one (JPG) does not have a thumbnail. (See URL above).
M7DVQ is Snr Member.

I have labelled those three & the previous four with Membergroup & image type.

Version is 9.0.8

If you upload that same jpg file does it create a thumbnail?

I have checked further, the original pics added by two different members did not show thumbnails.
That was a red herring and whatever the member group isn't relevant. It is the pics that seem to be the issue as they fail whoever posts them in the Gallery.

I have attached two pics., the AMC-No doesn't produce thumb but the POD-Yes does. They both attach to a post in the forum.

I hope that gives you a clue!

Hmm was able to upload both and it created the thumbnails

Ok, thanks for checking.
I guess I will have to try to find out why some don't produce thumbs for my setup.
